But since that's not possible yet I've been thinking of trying out air dry clay (watched your tip vid on that, awesome refresher and extremely important/easy to follow for beginners) It's been years since I've worked with clay and while dejunking my room I just tossed all my old tools (they were falling apart anyways) But this video is perfect! Easy to follow and sparks ideas on how to jerry-rig my own tools with supplies I already have!
Are you familiar with wires that companies & diy e-juice vapers use to make coils that go into rebuildable e-juice tanks? CoilMaster makes tools that are used to adjust & twist wire into specific coils that go in vaping tanks, incl’g but not limited to punch tools, wire cutters, etc. Would this work well to use as pottery tools on the wheel, by hand, & sculpted pieces? As a musician my stomach fell out of my butt while my heart simultaneously broke when you cut the guitar string. I hope that you atleast loosened that string before cutting it. If you ever feel you must do this again, please respect the instrument and most importantly, yourself, and take care to loosen and disconnect the string before cutting it as it's generally safer to do so in general.
