    Why is the Cumin so very orange? In my experience it's normally light brown like your Cardamom in this video

      It was so long ago that I don't remember, but just by watching it, I must say it could be mislabelled turmeric, so I might have just used double turmeric. It was definitely tasty though, but if you were to cook it, use real cumin.

    Is the recipe very spicy? I can only imagine with so many types of spices added

      Thanks! The curry itself, not really. Most Japanese curries are quite mild. The spiciness mainly came from the Sichuan fermented bean paste.

      @@w2kitchen i was talking about the mapo tofu, theres so much sichuan peppers that it looks insanely spicy
