Amazing! Now everyone can experience this totally professional and "to the letter of the law" court case!
This is SO COOL! I love that with all the open seats, we're still sitting directly in front of Jevin 😆
It's an aisle seat, directly behind the lawyer of all time, with an ideal viewing angle to watch the prosecution's witness-tampering... What's not to like? I even tried to reach out and grab the head at 2:45, it's that immersive!
Scared me how close he was when I turned around. 😅
I got jumpscared by Jevin when he picked up Joe's head.

Beef: "I was not thinking of Doc's esophagus when we built the giant fish in his hourglass."
Doc: "Lord, have mercy."
Joe: "No further questions, your honor."
Bdubs: "...Seriously??"
Counsel should have rested when VintageBeef said he would not make something so large it could hurt a child.

Ohhh my god I forgot that 360 degree videos were a thing. This is genius, Joe
I think I've only stumbled across 1 or 2 videos before this that ever did it. (And those were just sort of "just because we can" type videos decades ago to show off that it was possible. And it was videos from someone's yoga session if I recall correctly, which is not something that I ever watch anyway.) So I wasn't thinking of it either as the video started. Sat through the first 4 or so minutes locked in on the same camera angle staring centered on Bdubs before I noticed the different control in the corner of the screen and realized it was that type of video. Turned the camera around and first thing as I looked to the back of the room Beef by coincidence just happened to turn his head straight towards this POV at the same time. Turning around a bit more there was Jevin in the seat behind us and I thought it was a funny thought for half a second that somebody could just spend this whole video in a staring contest with Jevin if they wanted to. Also as I was looking around somehow dragging the camera around kept accidentally (and it's really inconsistent about when it does it so I can't figure out how I'm doing it) speeding up the video. I never watch videos sped up normally so it's really weird just getting these random 2x or 5x bursts out of nowhere.
I didn't catch any of it. I spent the whole court case drowning in iJevin's beautiful eyes.
WAIT OH MY GOURD THIS IS ACTUALLY 360°... I saw the Tumblr post and I was like "oh what fun editing tricks is Joe of the Hills going to bring to us today?" but NO! We are in the audience watching the trial!! Absolutely INSANE I love this so much aaaaa

Yessss same same! For some reason I got so much joy just from being able to follow Joe with my phone when they opened the door to the courthouse & walked back to their seat after Doc shot them... This is such a bizarre but fun way of experiencing Hermitcraft :D
this is the coolest thing ive ever seen from a minecraft video no joke. ive spent the past five minutes just spinning in my room with my phone held up to my eyes whispering "this is so cool..." over and over. thanks for giving me a sense of childlike whimsy again mr hills

It's always hard when there's a collaboration with many hermits to make a unique approach....Joe you NAILED IT
Never in my life would I have thought that this court case can become more entertaining but Joe you Madlad did it. This 360 concept is so good. It's like I'm there, among hermits

No matter how many times I've watched this (every perspective twice) Doc's response "I have THIIIINGS to DOOO" makes me laugh every time.
Although I'm usually not a fan of 360 videos, because you're always looking in one direction, this works very well.
I'm so sad this 360-degree video wasn't shot using a camera in the courthouse, but this spot makes much more sense. We can see everything, and it makes us feel like we're part of the audience! ❤
Ive always wanted to see a puppet show, never thought my first one would be a court case though
The mental incompetence wasn't a terrible defense, it was better then what Doc might've made for himself
Not gonna lie. This actually has significant rewatch value because of all the places you can be looking . I might watch this again in future but just focus on whatever Beef is doing. Just to see if he makes any funny movements we didn’t see in the other perspectives

Epic!! At first I thought why is Joe’s video all over the place? Then I realized, *I* was all over the place because I was controlling the view!! Loved being able to look around and see the reactions of different people!! Great work Joe!

from the camera and general defense of doc, i think your perspective can be considered the most creative! in what department that entails is to be considered but then again that's a job for the jury, not the spectators. happy to have a front row seat in spite of it all!
This is definitely something that should be utilised more often in Minecraft. You also just don't see enough 360 degree videos.

The Jevin jumpscare when I turned around was unexpected, but now I just feel like another attendee checking in with my neighbour behind me like "did you just hear that too???".
Also I feel i needed a splash zone warning sign for the rockets.

With the recent Supreme Court rulings this sentencing actually seemed quite fair lol

I was wondering why the camera was at a weird angle, but I moved my phone, and OH MY GOODNESS, THIS IS AMAZING! I can't imagine how long and how frustrating it would have been to make this. Props to you, Joe 👍
It's actually something that's possible using Replay Mod I believe.

You do have to be careful with movement in 360 videos, because motion sickness, but something like a fade out and in like Joe does when he dies could work really well
I love how the camera is even skewed a little, like Joe had physically set it up in the courtroom!
