    Great Video Chris. IMHO 2012 Unibody MacBooks are the sweet spot for Open Core legacy patcher. I am running Ventura on 3 x 2012 machines including a 2012 Mac Mini. I have found older machines a bit slow. Nothing wrong with HighSierra as long as you have a modern web browser installed, Just don't do your online banking on it. 💻

    I decided to take one more run at this. Now trying to do this on the cheap, I used a 16 GB Flash Drive that was purchased from "WISH". Fair well knowing that you may or not have received an item that was a legitimate 16 GB stick. It read 16 but apparently wasn't. I redid this whole procedure using a brand name 64 GB flashdrive and everything worked as it should. Just figured I'd pass this along.

    • @666-Jay
      @666-Jay 9 месяцев назад

      There's nothing easier than reversing back to High Sierra or whichever macOS version you want.
      1°) You can either boot in Recovery Mode and in main menu, choose to reinstall macOS (it might take quite a long time to proceed and requires an internet connection)
      2°) or either create a bootable drive USB with High Sierra installer on it (or whichever OS you want) & then boot on this USB stick
      3°) or either revert back with Time Machine IF you proceeded to a full back-up of your system & data BEFORE upgrading to Monterey or whatever OS.
      And please note that the first solution (via Recovery Mode online) will inevitably reinstall the last version of macOS that your hardware can legitimately support according to Apple' standards (i.e. High Sierra for a MacBook Pro 7.1 mid 2010). To reinstall another macOS, you MUST proceed with a bootable USB drive.
      Don't hesitate if you have any questions (how to create the drive USB installer, issues during the install process or post install, etc.)
