Wow, your even looks fresh! I have one of these and I updated the SSD and ram back in 2015, it was a monster, it would run many games in bootcamp. I used it to its limit, even edited professional videos till 2020, so 10 years of good use. Gave it to my wife with a fresh format and she used it for an office job till about 2023, when I gave her a macbook air. Since it is in kinda rough shape I'm thinking of turning it into a wooden desktop and install windows for a media center for my living room. It's still a great machine, hate to see it stored with no use.

Hi! Please help! Your video is the closest I've come to my issue with my Thunderbolt display 1 and my new MacBook Air. I bought an adapter with the mini display port on one end and the usb-c on the other so that that could plug into my new MacBook Air and I can't get the display to wake up/work. But now I am thinking I need an actual thunderbolt adapter to usb-c BUT I can't find that first generation Thunderbolt display adapter anywhere. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

The best feature is that it can be used as a REAL uninterruptible power source because of its less than 10 milliseconds switch-over time. None of the other units are that fast, typically they are 20 milliseconds which is okay but some games and computers might glitch with the slower speed.

I bought a Mac Mini instead of any flavor of MacBook to substitute for my old 2016 MacBook Pro. Two 15.8" screens that are USB C only connections and a Logitech Pebble keyboard mouse combo. I can use one or both monitors and take it with me anywhere in a simple backpack. Add a 15' power cord from Amazon and I can set up nearly anywhere.

Everything worked out great new PNY 1tb SSD successfully installed and I used a preinstalled USB with the firmware on it from eBay with up to date system software. I just have to reinstall all new games lol and I have basically no WiFi but it's ok I use my hotspot each month and slow WiFi to eventually get stuff updated I was able to fit session fully updated

That is the exact same SSD I am going to install into my PS4 slim tommorow, only I am doing the 1tb pny CS900 I think it's called. Your video is perfect for helping my scatterbrain know exactly what to do lol. I am backing up the data onto USB drive almost finished with that. Also HEADS UP for anyone who runs into the issue where you deselect all of your applications/games and your PS4 is saying you still have a bunch of GB of application data trying to back up. If you have a game in the middle of an update for a newly installed game, like I had GTA5 updating I was unable to start backing up data until I deleted the game that was updating.

i got the river off amazon for 200 buck a and it came with a 40 wat portable charger but i got it bc i always drain my car battery charging my phone or other devices like a laptop or rog ally x and its work good i like i also am using it now to bring my electricity consumption down not for the bill or anything but just to be nice to the planet

I have this same GamingLaptop. I have never Changed 8Gb RAM. Right now i would like to get 2x 16 GB RAM but i am not sure if it handle it and SSD Like you did. Would i be happy with results when i plan to play League of Legends on it Daily? Not sure if its worth to upgrade an older Laptop.

I think the best worth Mac Mini M4 starts with 512go of storage, and from there you can add up to 1 or 2TB of external SSD Nvme. If you take 256go sooner or later it won't be sufficient (system update and so on) For me the future proof Mac Mini M4 is : 512go storage, 24go ram (to keep running with Apple Intelligence and still do great job in multi tasks) + add external storage in NvMe plugged in Thunderbolt to enjoy full speed SSD.

Yes, but what do you do if you only have a pc laptop? I've got a 27" imac pro.. with an empty ssd hardrive in it.. and no way to get the mac os software installed. Mac wont let me download the os to my pc laptop. Any ideas?
