Well I didn't compile all the times I failed to kill Phoenix, haha. It still feels like a 50/50--if Phoenix does the straight line towards the center, it's over, you can't kill. If Phoenix circles a bit or moves somewhat haphazardly, it's possible to hit with Blizzaga (the pattern at 1:31). Sometimes Phoenix will pause a bit in their movement towards the center, and hitting with a Blizzaga there will stun them enough to kill. Sometimes hitting with Blizzaga stuns enough to get a kill in general, like 1:55, where it does reduced damage but is enough to just spam Divekicks. But yeah it's ideal to get Kujata while Phoenix is doing an attack--Rending Talons in particular is nice because Phoenix will always go into Flaming Geyser after, so you have a good amount of time.
