Lifestylism is an anarcho-babble insult for anarchists that don't pass the anarcho-purity litmus test and don't partake in the class struggle BS. Ironically, the people they were mocking took it up as some sort of anthem. It's one of the few Chumbawamba songs that isn't really political.

At the time music collectives weren't really a big thing I assume, but as of recent I have been seeing more music collectives popping up.

People have found success in their own music collectives, collaborating with each other and releasing music. The PC Music collective has found relative success. Dorian Electra has released 2 studio albums with one garnering huge critical praise. Collectives outside of music like worker cooperatives give their workers a living wage, the ability to vote, self manage their workplace and give back to the community as a lot of them has some sort of social meaning behind it like planting trees, or feeding the homeless. None of that sounds evil at all.
