- So I got my Solar A2.7 white matte yesterday. And I love it. So here is a quick overview and some noodles on it!

What are the little velcro strap things that you put on the headstock/top of the strings called? I'm wanting to get some but idk what they're called...

Sorry for late response! They are called fretwraps. Made by Gruvgear. Very nice for making the headstock not ring, or making solos easier to play in the studio without the other string making noise.

Dont know the specific weight. But its not that heavy to be honest. Its a breeze to play standing up for long periods of time.

How in the FUCK did you get your spider 4 to sound like that???? I have a 75 watt and i wanted to sell it n get a randall head but if i can make it sound like that I’ll keep it!
I think i had the insane preset, just fiddled with the gate, gain and boost. Just fiddle with it til you get what you like! I recently got a Peavey 6505. Tube amps are alot thicker sounding.
