Love it man. I just got in on the buy one get one and was stoked. I did end up paying about 500 extra to get them to the door but still saved about 350. Love the axes and feel I really got my money worth and a bit more.

Svart means black in swedish. Even the 12th fret inlay is blacked out on the svart models and it looks great

I just scored a a.6on and im in love i did have to adjust the neck and level some frets but they are beautiful
i think im going to pull the trigger on a Solar T! been eyeing them for so long and if its anything similar to my LTD Arctic Metal feel wise i know I'll love it

I am excited to see what Solar Guitars does this year as well. I am hoping to see a S series 6 string model with a poplar top in red blood burst, evertune, actives. We shall see if not my search goes on. We dont need anymore black guitars, there are enough to choose from and you cant get much more black the the Svart

They have many x models with evertune
I wish the sustainiacs were installed on more types, because at the moment they are almost exclusively on A types.
Would be nice to get that Flame Burst on a Type G. I'm a big fan of the Amber and Tobacco Bursts and would love to see a Cherry Burst variant.

I have 3 Solars and they are absolutely amazing and solid af. No need to upgrade anything and the Seymour Duncans RIP! Well worth the 💰
My only problem with Solar guitars is that most of the finishes/shapes I would buy don't come with the hardware configuration I prefer. I see them everywhere and they sound amazing though so I'm hoping they get one right for me soon

Duncan Solar is probably a pickup manufactured by Seymore Duncan for Solar and made in a factory. The Solar hand wound is made by Solar personally. I might be wrong but that is usual trend with names.
You are correct. The Duncan solar pickup is made specifically for solar by Duncan. Ola has said as much, many times.

Get the older/first 29" model (black/grey )that comes with an EVERTUNE. I have tuned it everywhere from B standard to F standard. The evertune saddle does limit your string size to a (safe) 80... I talked to a rep, and you can drill the saddle and get a 95 in there if you really wanted to get it lower... I finally just settled on tuning it to F# with a custom single set (low 80) - it absolutely destroys. I prefer more tension than the average player, so I'd say most people would feel ok with it in F standard actually. Personally I don't think ANY 8- string range guitar should be LESS than 29" scale...

Dude solar guitars are the shit. First let me say they're the only company that has an exclusive reversed headstock except maybe Chapman. But to be metal AF and be reversed that says you are a metal brand!🤘 As far as badass colors I really like their sort of lavender X guitar it might even be a 7 string?It has a really cool color. I do agree with you on that sunburst That is badass too. I also like their neon green ones, when I originally got turned on to SOLAR That's the color my friend had. I ended up buying a satin black X for 950 shipped to California! ♥️!♥️!♥️! Yep bro Solar rips and their guitars are badass sounding I believe they're pickups are based on the Seymour Duncan custom not sure if it is the SH5 or the SH 14? But nonetheless solar is going to be around for a long time! I will be subscribing to your channel today!!!✌️🤘

I got one four years ago but sent it abck due to the lacquer peeling.
Bought another this month, volume pot came slack as shit, after tightening it up, there's a muddy sound that comes from the guitar, the middle neck position doesn't work at all, and the lacquer on this one is already peeling.
Ive had better £150 guitars.

I mean Solar is not really giving you what PRS, Fender and Gibson give you so comparing the high end of those to the high end of solar is kind of moot. A better comparison would be with Schecter Black Ops for example. Or the Jackson Concept series, which is not made in the USA but does have the highest specs possible. Or maybe even Kiesel a little bit, and all the custom shops if you wanna start getting into that. Because if you compare any of those things to a Fender, Gibson or PRS flagship, the same thing will happen right?

Top tier Solars are cheaper than ESP's Top tier, not EII or LTD but the actual ESP. About the same price as Fender's American Ultra, However, Fender does have some high crazy price points though.
All of which are unwarranted...youre literally just paying for the employee wage difference between regions. Thats it...
@@RumpleStiltzkin-bu5he all depends on what models we are talking about. One example of money being higher and worth it is cheap pickups are made with pink wire because it isn't fully copper. These pickups won't work as well as cheap pickups with copper wire. The instrument is worth what you're willing to pay for it. My opinion the more stable the neck and long lasting the frets the better the guitar or bass.

If the guitar company cant sell a guitar that works, they shouldnt be selling half assed pieces of shit for cheap.
@@RumpleStiltzkin-bu5he Most of the Chinese factories used pink wire in the cheapest guitars and basses. Labor is cheaper in Mexico. Japan is known to craft some of the finest guitars and basses. Korea is known to produce solid instruments. Indonesia and others are a bit of a gamble. Different manufactures have different necks, but for the most part it seems that thin necks need help being stable. Like multi layers and rods are in thin necks. Some people like modding cheap guitars and basses. Bolt-ons are the cheapest because they can manufacture them the quickest. Sometimes the cost has to do with supply and demand. Manufacturing around the world is a little more complicated than just where it is made and how, but these are some of the reasons the location matters. And the neck info I hoped helped as well.

If you took all of the shittiest, cheapest chinese components and made that guitar in America...youre still looking at an $1800 guitar because of wage differences amongst the regions of manufacturing.
Is that guitar worth $1800...fuck no, but you have to pay for American wages.

I feel you but have you ever seen some of these custom shop ESPs they're worth their money but I do agree with you most guitars are not worth much more than 2 or maybe 2500 No matter what the specs are! Some of these guitars I see that are $5999 off the shelf USA built! I see a lot of cool ones that Diablo guitars but give me a fucking break!!!😮🤘
Yes but you have to factor in labor costs, amount of craftsmanship put into the guitars, and specs (Yes it is relevant). ESP customshops are definitely worth more than 2k. Plus you have to factor in inflation. Welcome to 2024
