Sherlock Holmes starts to investigate a mysterious disappearances that seems to be linked with some kind of a cult. Whispers of an Ancient God and other horrors surrounds this mysterious and secretive cult. Sherlock’s reasoning and logic is pitted against what appears to defy reason and logic altogether. Eldritch horror and madness await as Sherlock Holmes delves deeper and deeper all the way to the edge of lunacy.
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened 2023 is a remake from the 2007 The Awakened, it was remastered in 2008 with some improvements like adding third-person view. After all these years we got a new version of the old game, rebuilt from ground up adding side quests and new mechanics including insanity gameplay.
It is time to jump in the shoes of Sherlock and delve deep in a tale that combines H. P. Lovecraft and Sherlock Holmes. Lovecraftian horror meets the cold logical and analytical thinking. Oh, and I’m certain Watson is also creeping around behind Holmes.
