John Deacon is bloody awesome and a brilliant songwriter.
I'm fond of Deaky's gentle sternness. He always looks very quiet and reserved even on stage, so when he cracks smiles as he does here, it's absolutely heart-warming. I guess he feels quite confident while being with Roger because he seems so relaxed... Also, I love how Rog encourages him to answer the second question. Two sweet gentlemen for sure.

I've seen that in interviews where all the members of the group were present, John wouldn't really talk at all. But in the presence of just Roger, he seemed quite confident and comparatively talkative!

In the other interviews either Freddie or Brian do most of the talk so he relies on them. But it's cool that Roger discreetly encourage him to talk, either looking at him or stating an idea so John could catch that and go on. As an equally shy person myself who needs some push in social situations I appretiate Roger for this
No. Theres less social anxiety when less people are presence. And, yes Roger probably makes it easier.
I think its with Freddie also that he turns to his confident side.

nish aed yea, he sounds more nice than the actor who plays him in Bohemian Rhapsody with a deep voice, doesn’t sound like the real Roger that much. Rami Malek, Joe Mazzello, and Gwilym Lee acts and sounds a lot like Freddie, John, and Brian to me.
