Price is now $16.99 as of Feb 2021. I bought one and have not used it yet. I am putting together my cook kit for a month long motorcycle ride. And yes...... I am taking my old stove as well. I like the idea of an “all in one” cook set.

Great little stove. Saw it reviewed on RUclips, bought it on e-Bay, got it really quick. I have gone out back-packing with this little sucker 11 times now. I love it. It works great! No complaints at all. It looks like crap & cheap when you receive it in the packaging. But then you use it. It is an AWESOME little stove. Cheap, well-made, does the job really well, will last a long time, weighs almost next to nothing - What is not to like? I highly recommend!!!!

The BRS stove was a design that was first designed and marketed by a company named Oil camp it is the Oilcamp lon Micro Titanium Stove...and the BRS is the China Knock-off...of a American stove design?

So in other words the chinese BRS version is better because its lighter and cheaper and still great quality!

I love mine and keep in mind, that is a 4oz can of Isopro, not the 8oz. The 8oz would require a larger pot for nesting. Reports are that this is the "go to" stove on the thru hikes for 2017. This is a great little stove and thousands of thru hikers wont lie to you.

On the larger ones, you have an o-ring and a washer - if one fails, it's still usable. So if you're planning on using this on a long hike, I would recommend taking a spare o-ring along

If you put the canister in upside down you'll get a little extra room since the bottom of it is concave.

Watching your video answered my need for a quick easy low risk canister stove! See, I'm not a canister stove person but there are times when using one during fire bans is a wise choice. I mainly use the SOLO Stove Titan Cookset, or a Trangia 27 Cookset or a Trangia 28 Mini Cookset or an Esbit Trekker Cookset. Thanks to YOUR video I have now found my answer for a extra small reliable canister stove! HAPPY HAPPY WIN!

Good to hear your review. My stove weighs 6g and pot stand 10g totaling 16g, mind you there are a few extras that make life easier, but they are not essential. At 45g yours is maybe the world's lightest GAS stove.😉

Nice overview. I've got 2 or 3 of these (got 'em off Ebay for about the same as on Amazon) and religiously carry 2 on every trip. If one breaks or ceases to perform, I've got the other. And at 1.6 oz. total, I just don't care about the weight. I've used one fro about a year now and have no complaints so far.

Hmm. No actual demonstration of the stove, which would have been easy enough to do. How long does the BRS take to boil a litre of water (a standard measure of camp stove performance)? Is the flame adjustable for simmering and reheating? How wind-resistant is it? It would have been good to see the BRS and the Pocket Rocket fired up side by side for comparison.
Sincere thanks for posting this video. It looks like a nice little unit. But I still have no idea how it performs.

That small form-factor stove is the new standard. I bought an Olicamp stove about 2-3 years for $50 and the knock-offs are probably just as good...the size is fantastic for storing in your cook-kit. Ranger bands...where do you get yours? never have used them...look handy....mumble mumble...

what is there not to function. I have tried and tried alcohol but have to give it to canister stoves and this stove is great, just hate giving up the simplicity of alcohol. but they are inconsistent. look at my youtube for the wind screen I made for this stove.

Amazon now charging $28 for just ONE 8oz. MSR canister, and Walmart charging $38 for just ONE 4oz.! Talk about price gouging! Seems like almost everything connected to prepping and survival has gone way up in price recently. Lots of scared people out there I guess, and with good reason...

Terrible quality- mine failed and broke on the first use outdoors. The weld joining the pot holder to the neck snapped spilling my small pot of water. It could have been a nasty accident but the water had only been heating for about 30 seconds. I'm getting an MSR Pocket Rocket as a replacement. I want to be able to trust my equipment.
