These are very handy with a small rotary sanding disc fitted. Good for surface finishing. The disc pad screws into the collet nose thread. The sanding pads are contact stick on type.

I have one on my NSK right angle air pencil die grinder - which is very similar to what you reviewed, but a lot more expensive.

I'm not sure if the thread is standard/common across brands (I suspect it may be). Tell me the TPI and diameter of the BG one and I will check it against mine.

Hi Rob the one on this is quite different, I think. The actual locking collar has the male thread. The thread on the actual tool is an internal one.

That's interesting. So it basically is the same setup as a Dremel.
Looks like there are no standards on this stuff. I know for sure that Dremel thread pitch is different to my pencil air die grinder and none of their screw on accessories (like small drill chucks) will fit.

Hi Rob. No its unlike anything I have seen before. The actual screw collet is a split type and has the male thread on the back end. When this screws in and is drawn into the tool, the front end closes and clamps the bit. It is very effective and positive. I'll show a close up of it sometime as its hard to explain...

Very useful Steve - I have a regular one but reckon the right angle drive could be super useful.
I'm lazy with oiling - just add a few drops into the supply hose. I keep the air supply oil free because of other things that need dry air.
The sound is totally reminiscent of our 'friend' the dentist LOL. :)
+ChrisB257 Hi Chris I have just decided the same. I only have one of those small clear oilers and I cant tell whether it works. A few drops in the supply hose is a sure way of oiling. Talking about dentistry..Many years ago I had a filling fall out and I put a temporary one in using that car filler Isopon p38. I think the dentist was quite impressed when had it refilled...:)

The outer sleeve on the airline should be slid along and attached to the tool acts as a silencer and keeps the cold air away from your hand

Hi Ian the way things are is going in the UK.....this wont be far off.... I may actually switch from engineering at some point, now I have this tool and become a cheap private backyard dentist... to cash in.

Hi Thanks. No I'm not a spokesman for Banggood. Whenever I obtain any tools or equipment from them they are only what I would choose for use in the workshop because I know they are good already. I don't just get random items just to do reviews and make video content, they are tools etc that are carefully selected for a specific purposes. In other words....If I don't review a certain item its because.. I either have it already,.... I have no interest in it,... or I wouldn't buy it. Thanks for watching and for your honest question. Can u demonstrate what EURO standard air fitting is like. Here in Strata we had Ryco, Pem, and James fittings popular till the NITTO fitting made its way in via the airtools sold to tradies. The Nitto has very good airflow but it hasn't made its way into industries such as manufacturing or auto repair. Do you have a real preference for one style or are you stuck on the ones your grandfather left behind in his backyard shed?

Hi Steve, No I'm not stuck on any kind. I did have the PCL until recently. The Euro ones seem to be very common now, but I have had problems with a few couplings leaking, so I was nearly put off them. I have only just come across the Nitto ones. They do actually look a better made fitting and when coupled are much more positive and secure. The Euro ones tend to move side to side, you can wobble them when they are connected, which I don't like. I may go over to the Nitto ones now as I only have a few fittings and they are very inexpensive to buy. Incidentally the Euro ones are a relatively new type fitting that my Grandfather wouldn't have seen! Regards Steve
I've had some trouble getting the right bit size the ones that came with the grinder is 2.95 mm but the ones I by for the 3 mm chuck is 3.15 mm ? I think the are really for the 3.2 mm grinders 🤨
Bo Jönsson lmfao dude 2.95 or 3.15mm it will work in a 3 mil collet. Will also work in an 1/8” American collet.

I have noticed that some of stuff ordered though comes from a warehouse in the UK or Europe, so I presume taxes have already been paid on the import. That is a piece of garbage. Get a Dotco grinder you'll never look back.
This one looks absolutely identical to the Dotco one and performs exactly the same. They must be made in the same factory. Dotco must have bought them from China and banged over 350 GBP on them for a massive profit. This is what many companies have been doing. They got too greedy. Thanks for watching Regards
