This works only with windows 7, i had the same issue but i have win 10 hp laptop and i went to the hp website and i downloaded the network manager file from there but when i try to install it it says the file is corrupted and cannot be unpacked but finally i found the solution by myself i just had to go the bios settings and i restored the settings to default and also the security setting i turned all of them to default and i restarted my pc again and the problem is solved, i hope this helps.

Actually after seeing half of the video I started searching the Wi-Fi button on laptop and on the front lining of keyboard I found a slider that was turned off by mistake and hence the wireless connectivity got off! Wtf u skipped the most important part... Its still the same I can't power on or off in the connection manager..... u edited what u did and I'm stuck.... EDIT: CLOSE THE CONNECTION MANAGER AND THEN RE OPEN THE APPLICATION, THE NETWORK AUTOMATICALLY CONNECTED AND IS WORKING 😀. IT STILL SHOWS AS DISABLED IN THE CONNECTION MANAGER AND BUTTON STILL NOT WORKING SO IT THINKS ITS OFF FOR WHATEVER REASON HP ARE STUPID. 😒
If the is indicating this problem; “No WWAN device detected” exit installation . Kindly go through this process. Click on Device MANAGER then go to; Network adapters and Click; then click on Realtek PCLe GBE family controller and right click on it; click on Properties; click on Advanced in the box; then click on Auto disable Gigabit; then check the box; Not Present and ok
The wifi button is f12 but the keyboard is dead whenever the wifi is off Nd there is no option to turn it back on on the screen so now the wifi and the keyboard both are dead. Suggest something

guys. a still cool laptop in our days today! but after reassembling, my wifi radio (Intel WiFi link 5100) and bluetooth stopped working on windows 11 (no difference, like on 7, 10) the decision is very unexpected🥲🥲🥲🥲! you just need to reset the bios!🤣 I now see both modules perfectly as well as their functionality unfortunately I have already ordered new modules, but it's okay I will install also a new dashboard panel and a 1.8 inch 120gb ssd (instead of stock hdd), they are coming soon to me

Thanks! It works in my 2530p. After a pc repair, the wifi button turned blue when pressed, but the wifi did not work. Installing this app made everything go back to normal, and now the wifi button works without having to open this application. Great!
sort of worked...thanks..btw the problem was solved but the led light on my old dv4 pavilliion does not come on now; is either red for wifi off or no light for wifi on (it used to be blue..)
Simple solution : You can download from any other working fine computer through this link then copy to USB and install.

Buy an ethernet cable. Plug it in your router and your laptop. I have this exact problem on my HP and I'm here searching how to fix this.
