Hinson Longtubes w/catless X pipe
Corsa Axleback
C6Z differential, TR6060 Transmission, Mcleod RST Twin Disc.
Was fighting some exhaust banging on the 3-4 shift that caused some serious knock retard; essentially pulled 6 degrees of timing for safety through all of 4th gear. Since then I've tamed down the knock recovery rate.
Houston Raceway 2/22/2020 - Street Drags. Busy night only got 2 passes in. Other pass was 11.4@121 on the motor only.

04 Z06 here... what is your intake and throttle body?
This would have been a LS2 throttle body with adapter wiring and a Mamo ported FAST 102.
Hi im about to install the nitrous kit on a 97 c5 , where can i pass the nitrous line to connect the bottle on the back. Thanks
I've seen them run down the side skirts. Not a fan. Mine is run up and over the cradle area, away from exhaust, and down the tunnel next to the fuel lines. You can run it in there without dropping the drivetrain (just the exhaust and the tunnel cover).
I ran mine inside the car under the carpet, etc. to under the battery tray. Best way to do it I think...
Damn fine driving! That tune just let you down for a second, tens next time for sure!
Thank you! Slowly but surely making progress. Stay "tuned" for additional videos.
Nice! A true driver's car with the manual transmission. I have a 98 6-speed modified but I don't drag race it.
Thanks! It was a really fun car to campaign. Please consider subscribing to get updates on my Stealth project (automatic) where I'll be targeting deep single digit passes.
What rear tire and wheel setup are you running here?
Apologies on the delay, I've been away. This was Camaro 16x8 wheels and Hoosier QTP 26x9.5x16 tires
Nice launch. I am at a very similar power lever with an rxt clutch. However I am still running a stock trans and diff and worry I would leave the drive train on the track if I launched like that.
Tread lightly for sure. I'd recommend a brace at a minimum. It's the wheel hop that kills them.
@@completetuningsolutions Very nice run. What brace do you run and do you feel it makes the ride worse?
@@toddb3394 I've run various braces. The one I like the best are those that exoskeleton the differential and transmission such as the ECS products (What I ran on the c6z swap stuff). Nvh does increase but that was more so with the solid mounts and stiff bushings.
