I absolutely LOVED this game! This one is enormous fun & I recommend it to everyone, who's a fantasy fan. The "one does not simply walk into Mordor" trophy, when you walk through basically the entire map of middle earth, is best saved for last. This way you can sort of say goodbye to this great game...
For the 10billion studs achievement, you can play the Helms deep level, and quickly enter and leave the secret area over and over, your character grabs a blue stud every second so it's really quick
Completed it myself a couple of years ago and had a great time. Happy to see that you've played it and had a good time with it mostly. But the grind in these games can become really exhausting at times, unfortunately.
The LEGO games have such a nice charm to them, I have only played a handful of them, but they were some of the nicest games to just sit and enjoy..... or grind out a platinum trophy haha

I'd definitely say go for the Platinum on Lego DC Super Villains, that game was a lot of fun, but if you go for the 100% one of the Aquaman levels is a bit glitchy
@MayorHairBear idk if it was just me but one of them always caused me to crash when beating it, I was able to 100% it still and get True Villain but on my save it looks like it's not finished 100% because of that
Glad to see the videos still kicking Bear! Not gonna lie, kinda falling out of love with trophy hunting or 100%ing games in general. Makes it feel more like a chore rather than fun, and games are meant to be fun. Id love to try Baldur’s Gate 3 but the plat being 120 hours scares me away, and that is just silly to me. Why should i make this a full time job, especially when I barely have enough time to play as is? I don’t really know what to do, but I’m glad to see this hobby is still enjoyable for you!
I really LOVE this game. I got atleast 3 times the 100% on it. There is alot of yank in it. I really want to do all the lego games 100%. I got them all, but got annoyed and stopped the journey, but i really have to get back into it. I got a few, but not many. Maybe this is my sign to get back into it, ty mate!
The first Lego Marvel game is a great one, but some of the final % are incredibly tedious/difficult. I think we put in well over 70 hours and still to this day, only sit on something like 96%. There felt like so much post-story content - hours of the stuff. Another was Harry Potter (grrrr). We reached 98% done before the game bugged out and locked us out of one final in-game character, which in turn locked us out of the post credit level (And I think two more characters). We skipped the PS4 version when we tried again and did finally get 100% on PC. Great fun.
It’s by far my favourite Lego game aswell, helps that I also love the Lord of the rings. Basically grew up watching the films and playing the banger PS2 games. But I just couldn’t continue with the platinum for this, felt it was just too grindy, started in June and ended in June 😂
In my opinion, LEGO City Undercover is an underrated LEGO game. It plays a bit different than the other LEGO games, but it has a fun story and it’s parody of crime films is top notch
I remember playing tf out of the DS LotR games and loving the franchise without ever actually watching the movies 🗿. In fact, I only just recently watched Fellowship of the Ring

When I did this it took me about 27 hours but I got unlucky and got hit with the bug for one of the Mithril Bricks in Mordor that is a known issue where you have to either replay the whole game or try a cheese clip to get it but it took me like 2 hours of attempts to figure that out almost. And then I got a second bug with the create a character and the final Blacksmith character unlocking stuff properly . Otherwise agreed a great game but those bugs were very frustrating.
I’ve just recently platted the Luke Skywalker saga and it’s complete burnt me out of Lego games 😵 but I’ll be tuning into the future Lego vids of corse 👌🏼
The Lego LOTR, was to my experience one of the worst, from then ~ 5-6 lego games I did. I don't know about the solo experience, but the co-op experience is completely miserable. I did the 100% with a friend, and it literally pause for the other player at each interaction, talking / opening the map / inventory, EVERYTHING except running, it was so painfull
7:20 I'm surprised you collect all the mitrhil brick without any lag or glitch?? wow it's so much different on the PC a.k.a Steam, I have to used a cheat because the god damn mitrhil brick is missing or it's like a glitch, the same goes for Lego Hobbit but I didn't used a cheat cuz there was a trick on RUclips... Lego Lord Of The Rings and Hobbit are very glitchy on the PC version :(

Does anyone know why this is the case
Damn you've been killing it! I did look into that and for whatever reason Lego Lord of the Rings is backwards compatible but only if you have the disc. Not sure why it's not for sale but I'd have to guess maybe a licensing issue

Bit of a short video but fair enough.. what isn't fair is every legal game having a 10B stud collection achievement. It's just so slow and braindead. Even with the bricks. I wish they wouldn't do this as making people play longer doesn't help the franchise. It makes no difference if we play for 30 minutes or 30 hours. Once we've bought the game they've done their job as developers. It's a kick in the teeth for us who actually want to 100% the games instead of one playthrough lol. I hope this make sense. Anyway good video man 😊 congrats on the grind.

There was a cheep trick on helms deep I used where if you walk in and out of the mythrill bared area u could farm studs fairly quickly

Yeah I've heard Lego games can be quite buggy sadly but have heard both Harry Potter and Marvel are great games when they work!
