Serenity sounds like a prepper! We'd probably be insta-friends. LOL :) @Serenity...you can boil whole potatoes until they're firm-soft through, then dice them up and throw them in a dehydrator. (Probably have to spend a day or two in a campground with electric hook-ups to run the dehydrator, though...or do it the old-fashioned way under the sun...) Then vacuum pack them in jars or seal-a-meal bags. Re-hydrate with hot water when you want to use them.
I really love her insulation system. I have an RV ram that is not well insulated from the manufacturer. I have the black lizard skin, so I’m thinking, if I can add the white ceramic lizard skin somehow to the van, that would make a huge difference. Love the interview!
Thanks for sharing more about Serenity tonight. Sharing post. Remember to watch the Raw Life Health Show on why we should be buying food from farmers and NOT grocery stores says, Paul Nison, 2 days ago. Like him or not he is spot on.......... from the Ozarks, living near farmers and orchards
This is so informative. I bet Serenity is constantly thinking up ways of making her Wheel Estate more efficient while she is watching TV at night. Amazing. Thanks for posting Carol.
Very nice setup! One thing I myself wouldn't do, is have all my kitchen equipment out like that. The dust that was kicking up as that vehicle drove by and I can see and hear it was very windy there. The coffee maker she was showing had a thick layer of dust on it. It's not that I'm a clean freak by any means, but grit in my food gives me anxiety. Otherwise, it looks like she thought it out well. Thanks Carol and Serenity!😁✌
WOW, Serenity has it all in hand! What she had for Auguson Farms were cans of Freeze-dried foods."MREs" are "Meals Ready to EAT", which is what replaced the old "C-rations" in the military. They are complete meals.
I live in northwest Montana and I live in my Sprinter full time. I have Havelock wool in the walls and ceilings And I have the Olympian wave 6 for temperatures below zero And I have the Wave 3 for normal temperatures like tonight at 17° out. My power is the Eco Flo Delta 2 and the ecoflow Delta Max I use the all powers 200 flexible solar panel on my windshield that's the only one I have found that will give me a charge even on very cloudy days.
As a lifelong animal advocate & 50 years of petsitting, I can’t imagine anything more stressful than being on the road full time with an untrained dog. For a more stress-free lifestyle, start training how to walk on a leash & come when called as soon as pet is acquired. Don’t train for more than 15 minutes at a time, but daily consistency is a must, & separate from any distractions. I trained a wild feral dog, that had ran with a pack for over a year, by working with her 3x a day for 3 weeks… also, I lost an average of a pound a day. The first week I swore she was getting worse, but by the third week, no one could believe it was the same dog.
hello hon..........nice , very nice as usual 😊😊😊😊. serenity , is brilliant........big kudos to her great content , thank you for sharing🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰.............
I did that in my Ford Econoline long before solar panels came along. I had the fiberglass extention top. And it was insulated. I had 3 usb or 12 volt fans. I hooked them to small battery jump starters that ran the fans at full charge all day! I'd camp in cheap trailer parks from AAA booklets. And recharge all the chargers. I stuck a small window size ac in my passenger window with foam cut to fit around the ac. It totally kept me and my long haired kitty cool at nighttime. During the day I put a block of ice in a file sized plastic tub on center of my bed. Opened both small slider windows on each side of back of my van. Along with the fans blowing over the ice. Kitty sat next to window between ice tub and window and had natural ac right there. I used a trucker fan in my cig lighter on me all day with a water sprayer for super hot areas😂❤ we went from CA to Kansas up and back this way. Through New Mexico/Texas way. Now you could still travel this way using solar much easier I imagine. I had no ac in the van as it was a 1978 and I did this in 90s. Before great cell phones too.
Great video. Links to the products she used to insulate would be very helpful. I am going to insulate my van this winter, so this is coming just at the right time.
Yes, and she knows absorptivitiy and emmisivity ie. Color of vehicles makes a 20 degree difference as well. White van vs a dark Grey or red or black colored vehicle... .
Carol - you recommended a battery charging unit to purchase on Black Friday to save some $$. I wrote down the name of it but can't find it yet. Could you give that information again?
@@gloriouslifeonwheels3621 No. I'm not sure of the terminology but it was a good size "charging device" that you had bought that you recommended. And you had it in your vehicle. This was about 5 or 6 videos ago. Also, I would love it if you described your journey that led you to vehicle living. My thought is KUDOS to the people that choose this and am appalled that so many people are forced into this through no fault of their own. When I grew up ANY job could support you. ANY job could pay rent. I am appalled that "homelessness" is becoming "normalized" too. NOTHING IS NORMAL ANYMORE.
That is my kind of mattress. I commend those who enjoy that lifestyle. The only thing that would hold me back is the desert heat. It seems she has a handle on that.
What about safety-wise what is her protection from someone ripping her off. And running off with her supplies and things. I guess you just take your chances.
Growing up in New York, I would always see women on Park Avenue buying the same fake stuff from street vendors. Nowadays, it has developed to the point where everyone is buying on kislux , and there is nothing wrong with this.
Oh boy, i wonder how she fits all of that outside stuff into her van. She has too much stuff laid out and by d looks of it, d inside of d van is filled to d brim too😅
The perimeter of the inside of her van is stacked up to keepnthr dogs from jumping out when she opens the doors. She has a tow vehicle Indiantown show which she uses to drive around town in and also store uer outside stuff.
Now it's a decrease in quality and an increase in prices. There is no reason to buy genuine products, it's better to buy counterfeit products with even better quality than genuine ones kislux
You have the most interesting videos!❤😊
Thank you. Glad you like them!
Wow this lady is brilliant she has literally thought of everything

: ) WOW ! Serenity has put a LOT of effort into planning and her Van IS a MARVEL ! THANKS MUCH for sharing and ALL the BEST ! ! ! Cheers : )
Amazing, this woman is a genius. She planned out every single small detail, not a single stone left unturned. Amazing rig!
She really did a thorough job of thinking of every detail. I didn't even show the attached awnings, ON BOTH sides!!
Good heavens! Serenity came up with some amazing solutions!!
Love it!!

I like the way she has insulated her van 🚐
Me too. This is what I will do if I ever build out another van!
@ of course

Perhaps a cover?

Serenity should be a head of the RV industry building...Thank you for sharing and video...Blessings to you..
I think this lady could be a good one in charge of the campsite! 🎉
Wow. This is a dream build. 😆
What a beautiful name and an awesome rig thank you ladies 😊

Wow. Excellent ideas. With a good deal of her stuff outside, doesn't she have concerns for theft?
She is camping with others and they look out for each other.
How does all that fit in that van and when it is all in your van how u sleep
Brilliant! ☮️💟

What is the name of that electric cattle and where did she buy it from?
Makita Kettle from Amazon
@ Thank you!☺️

That it's almost awesome that she found a nice best way to live. People are waking up every day. This is it?
❤❤❤
Does she have any issues with mold?
Not.that I know of.
I wonder if something aside from the wool would work for stuffing the cavities because I'm allergic to wool....
Thank you so much for sharing!
You could probably use thr pink sheet insulation or there are bags of insulation at Hone Depot that isn't wool.
