In this video, I discuss the latest immigration news. The Biden administration has decided not to continue Trump's Public Charge fight at the U.S. Supreme Court level. The Department of Justice has dropped the appeal and the USCIS has issued guidance about next steps. The USCIS is no longer requiring the Form I-944, declaration of self-sufficiency. Now we can have millions of people coming into the country and going straight into living on the public dole. Nothing to celebrate here.
There is still a 5 year waiting time requirement for new LPRs. All it means is that you don't have to prove you have a lot of money in the bank or you have a 750 credit score before you can apply to get a green card!. The I944 form is almost longer than the other immigration forms!

What happened to police clearances and affidavit that were submitted over a year now to NVC. Do we have to redo those document? My case was frozen by the former government. I was asked to pay my NVC processing fee , the government took my money then decided not to processed my I-130. My I-601A that should take 3-6 months now taking 16- 20.5 months. I am thanking God for this President for having a heart of flesh.

I got an RFE on Feb10. Submit the i-944 03/08/2021 I send it express so that means they'll receive it on the 11/08/2021. After I mailed the letter, went home an realize I forget to include a photocopied form that was lefted in my printer.😖😖
I tried calling USCIS for information on what to do but they make it so difficult for you to get to them. When I tell you i was stress 😣😣 out. Omg. The struggle is real. Then I saw the news on my Google search 😄😄😄😄 only if you guys could see my reaction. God is good. God always come true.
If you are undocumented immigrant by overstaying your visa, and have applied for a change of stautus and it was denied in 2019. They advise a letter was sent to you which was not received by you. Upon calling USCIS office they do not have letter on file. They ask that you appeal and you have already done the biometrics before denial. What should you now do. Where do you fall.

So for those who already filed Form I-944 with Adjustment of Status application before March 9, 2021, USCIS will NOT take Form I-944 into consideration when they make decision on the application. Do I understand correctly?

My husband was told by US Embassy he would become "public charge" because I didn't meet the annual income for family of 2. I have meet and shown I meet the income requirements for family of 4. We have submitted taxes, my asserts, joint property, documents, and just jumping through hoops...
You still have to meet income requirements, public charge is applying for government benefits not being able to carry your spouse. You can’t expect to bring somebody over and not have enough income to take care of them.
If someone received a letter on March 5, 2021 stated they denied the I_485 application because of the form l_944 self sufficiency . What will should do next ?

Adjustment of status: file sent but form i 944 was missing so the medical exam got expired for more than 60 days from the date which was received. Since the reason of the hold up was the i 944 which is no longer needed, should USCIS consider my medical exam regardless?

I got an RFE on Jan 11 2021, stating that I must submit form i944 or my application will be denied, I submitted it to them and got a letter that they received it on Feb 22, now it has been cancelled after all the stress? and delays? That sucks

Ms Mc Bean could you put out the idea that part of immigration reform should extending I_245 from 2000/2001 to current so persons who have an approved petition who missed the last deadline in 2000/2001 could finally file for adjustment of status in the USA .Sadly nothing is being said about this topic.There are thousands of families who are unable to get green cards who have approved petition and do not have family members who would suffer extreme hardship if not allowed to return after going overseas for interview. PLEASE PLEASE use you platform to speak on this topic that Biden admin could address this topic

Ms Mc Bean many of us were hoping the Biden administration would extend the I-245 and bring it forward from 2000/2001 so people can file to adjust status while in the USA instead of having to travel home for interview who missed the last deadline 2000/2001 could you put the topic out the maybe the Biden admin would be listening to your channel
Extending the 1_245 rule should be part of immigration reform it was last done 20 years ago and would benefit many families in the USA who have approved petitions but unable to travel home for interview because of visa overstay can adust in the USA who already have Visa available that is about to expire after five years sadly nothing is being said about this topic in immigration reform

@@srdesigneredition6407 is base on visas availability there is an amount of visas allocated per year when it comes to indirect beneficiaries like siblings, adult kids, etc...
