10 minutes de bonheur !! Et la 405 avec, on pouvait pas rêver d'un meilleur plateau !
le hurlement du moteur qui résonne dans la montagne dans sa descente à 8.30 min,c'est que du bonheur !

Les passages sans le capot, c'est 3 montes qu'il a effectué avec la caméra fixée a l'avant et 2 GoPro sur la lame , il faisait des tests et en même temps ils tournaient un film publicitaire.

That's one serious weapon. Seriously composed around the corners and sounds like it has gobs of torque available. Not so much revs but has some serious poke.

Could be testing cooling or aerodynamics, or it could even have been removed to combat rubbing on somewhere like the wheel arches. New cars always have teething troubles. Its not uncommon to see them missing parts. F1 cars have tested without engine covers or have improvised sections cut out of the sidepods for example if things aren't working out during a shakedown.

Pretty impressive performance but nice to compare with Vatanen sliding at the same race with a 4 wheels drive in 1988
They were making a commercial and had taken the bonnet in order to locate the go pro camera on the front of the car.
Lionel Regal had that record in 2003 my man. I would be surprised if the Peugeot could match the Reynard 96D, but it would be close considering how primitive it was.
Lionel in his prime would have gone toe to toe with Loeb in any machine.
First time I see a wing this big is nesesary, Loeb just floor it like if it was his last day on earth!

Bonjour vous pensez que je peux mettre la meme boite de vitesse sur ma pigeotte ? C'est une 206+ 1.6 90ch et je trouve qu'elle met longtemps a passer les vitesses quand je la pousse dans la zone rouge

Beinga total Peugeot nut, I own 4 right now, 205s, 1.6 gti race car, 2.0 mi16 fun car, 1.7 gtdt... everyday cheepness and a 405 2.0 Lemans mi16, I like the name but I like the fact a Peugeot books the record more!

This should be for a new WRC class!!! This is what rallying is missing! Make sure the best safety precautions are in place then let the designers go wild! Peugeot could be competing with this car in the WRC, even if it had to be detuned a fraction!!! :)
Pour le reste et la comparaison qu'osent certains autres doux-rêveurs ou incultes, bien sûr on ne peut qu'approuver ce que tu dis puisque c'est un fait objectif :
La 405 T16 Pike Peaks fut un monstre de Pike Peaks et une voiture marquante de son temps mais contre la 208 Pikes Peaks actuelle, elle est complètement dépassée sur tous les plans, c'est sans discussions possibles évidemment

Ugly or not who cares, the result is here : he wins... Race car it's not fashion it's about perfomances, perhaps this is why he largely won...
it is in fact the 208,but i doubt that besides the FRAME,nothing belongs to it,it is a pure proto built especially for PP.

I don't get why they're calling it the T16. Anyone who get's the 205/405 T16 reference would have gotten it too, if they called it the "Peugeot 208 T24 Pikes Peak". Why do manufacturers have to make everything meaningless? The same with BMW: 116d, 118d, 120d... no difference in the mechanics, it's the same 2.0L Diesel each time except for different characteristics via ECU programming.
Oh and by the way: To me the 405 T16 sounds much better in comparison!
