Practical tip on how to test adequate water pressure really help - water dispenser should dispense one cup of water in 8 seconds or less. Why doesn't Kitchenaid put practical tips like this in the troubleshooting section of their manuals? This one tip helped save me time finding out if the problem was with my water supply line. Thank you!
Although helpful, I agree that this how to doesn't go far enough into next steps. Recommend that the video be retitled as "Troublshooting Ice Maker, Step 1: Assessing Adequate Water Pressure"
The title suggests troubleshooting but the video is all about a new installation. It makes a big deal out of referring to and following the user guide but the user guide is not very helpful, with statements like, "Ice cube jammed in the ice maker ejector arm" without any description or illustration of where to find the ejector arm. As it typical of these owner's manuals they say, "depending on your model" to which I say, "I just paid good money for this appliance, why can't the manual apply exclusively to the one I just bought?". They're always short on good quality illustrations so you're stuck deciphering undefined terms.
Literally nothing about the actual ice maker. My water pressure is fine. I literally got a brand new fridge and the ice maker broke in 2 months. It was replaced and 2 months later - same shit
Everyone commenting on how this is a stupid video, but I thought it was very informative. Change the fucking filter and it'll take up to 72 hours to produce ice.... I'll say thanks in advance.
Perfect. Thank you. My ice maker still doesn't work. Excellent video
Why did you not talk about the actual ice maker. Not a good video!

This video is worse than POS ice maker😡
Comment of the year - 2022 😂

What? No useful information here.

No wonder you had no comments!
You have the wrong title, this video has nothing to do with the ice maker..

This barely covers the ice maker at all. Please don't waste people's time like this.
Not really helpful
Did not help.
This video is useless. Nothing about the ice maker, just water pressure. 😡
useless video. don't waste time watching! What about the ice maker?
