Why TF would roku make it to where you have to have an existing remote to pair a new remote? Dude the only reason I'm getting another remote is cause I lost the other one
I just got a whole new ROKU system and I can't seem to Pair my remote. When I go to my TV it shows an image of 3. shapes that look like an egg that has an image in the shaped of an egg and the middle image shows a 5. next to it with a circle around the 5. with a finger pointing to the Pairing button on the back of the remote and I don't have a Pairing button on the back of my remote. That is how the remote came out of the box. Nothing is happening and I'm at a loss as to what to do. I hope this helps you help me. Thank You! for sharing this video.

@YourReviewChannel How do you enter codes manually using a Roku remote? It can't be done. There are no numbers on it and the roku set up process only works in the BS auto mode and only tries a few codes before it says it can't do it. I know the many Sharp tv codes. How do you enter them using the roku?
@@YourReviewChannel what I had to do was add another remote because I already added the voice remote so I had to add a regular remote and then I went to the step where you can add your remote to control the TV so basically if you have a voice remote, Roku sees it as two separate remotes........ But after doing that buy remote control the power to the television and the volume
@@YourReviewChannel 🤔 it is it's just that I forgot how I was doing it before with a PlayStation controller switches me back to the game system on the TV and the remote switches me back to the sound bar.. 🤔 I forget how i was controlling the TV with the remote

@@7Z7A7C7K7 mine connects to the tv you don’t need WiFi for that then go to your settings on your tv to turn on the WiFi

Check the remote control make sure the batteries are in good condition. Then follow the steps you should be able to figure it out.
