Yo Tibet
In 2008, Sonam Lhamo Bhutia and her husband opened Yo Tibet in Humayunpur, one of the neighborhood’s first eateries. It has since turned it into a staple of the local food scene. While the menu features Indian-Chinese favorites it’s the Tibetan classics that steal the show. We went for the laphing - a spicy, cold noodle dish that’s become a local favorite. Yo Tibet isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a slice of Tibetan culture in the heart of Delhi.
Lha Kitchen
In 2018, Dickey Bhutia opened Lha Kitchen. This Himalayan restaurant specializes in Nepalese, Bhutanese, Chinese, and Tibetan cuisines. We went for the dry Thukpa and the Kothey Momos.
Oh Assam
Oh! Assam offers cozy, home-style Assamese cuisine. Opened by home-chef Rubita ‘Ruby’ Brahma in 2017, it's known for its wholesome thalis, we came for the Duck curry, the Pork with Lai Shaak and the incredible tart Fish Tenga.
Hornbill
For rustic Naga food, Hornbill is the spot. Founded in 2015 by Khevito Elvis Lee and friends it’s all about bold Naga flavors. The standout dish is smoked pork with bamboo shoot and axone, and the Pork and beans salad. Another must try is the crunchy pork belly.

Now, this is what I call a food vlog….Man o man NorthEast food gems are so underrated. Everything looks magical. Instead of diverting to western food just travel to North-East....recipe changes in every up and down of the hill. As a foodie just loved this one. Amazing, mouth-watering. Hats off to you two because you were open to a different palate of taste altogether. One of the best video really satisfying both of you really enjoying. Love to the north east people and the cuisine.
Much love to you for taking the time to write this comment. Collectively we should address these cusines to a wider audience
When they stepped out of that Toyota Innova it felt like its a hatchback😅. Truly BIG FORKERS.
Hahahaha
Same here, came directly to the comment section to see if anyone noticed HAHAHA!
Few cars we can fit into in India.
Have you tried fitting into the polo?
I thought nothing could beat the Goan episodes, but this delhi series is gonna be so good. Can't wait, cheers 🍻!
Cheers
Thank You so much @ Sid & @Shanky .. I was eagerly waiting for this video. Lot of love from @Oh!Assam. ❤❤
Keep up the good work Rubi.. from a Bangalorean with a lotta Assamese friends :)
Truly loved the food at your place. That tenga fish curry still beckons every once in a while.
That was really amazing of you to help out that small business owner Ruby, hopefully she will have lots of customers after this
She is a gem
@@TheBigForkers Literally
❤👍❤
Shanky's upset stomach looking at him going in for each byte 👁️👄👁️
Love the exploration Big Forkers, you guys are the best ❤️
Shanks pulled through to the point he could
BGM throughout the video on point 🔥🔥
Cheers
Great Video. Sid has great knowledge about different cuisines. Despite upset stomach Shanky still tried the food and gave review.
Shanks is a soldier for food
I like how sid keeps mentioning "I should bring my family here". Whatta lovely chap :')
Good to see you trying Northeast cuisine specially Assamese cuisine as l am from Assam.
We loved it
great video, genuine feedbacks; shanky could have exploded anytime it seems! Hats off for not, a true forker !!!
Thanks a ton!
The fun thing is, Humayunpur is mainly well known among the students here in Delhi. It's fairly affordable and just great food.
Majnu Ka Tila also has the same vibe, being a Tibetan settlement. You'll find Aunties making laphing just outside the monastery, and the restaurants are also damn good and always inexpensive.
I love these places as much as any fancy restaurant you could go in Delhi :) Loved that you had a great day there.
It's such a gem
You should've picked Bhansaghar for Assamese food.
Next time 👍✌️
Hornbill best Naga restaurant in Delhi 🥂😊
It is brilliant
Now these are the videos I'm subscribed to The Big Forkers for. Great content guys, the video makes me want to fly to Delhi, get to Humayupur and spend 4-5 days just devouring the food there.
The spread looks absolutely delicious, poor shanky, feel bad for him.
All the best guys, a banger second episode to a great new season.
Cheers 🍻
Thank you for your support
watching you guys enjoy oh! axom made me almost forget that im on a diet
We are still thinking about that meal
why did i not find this channel earlier. loving it.
Glad you found it now
Assamese BGM with Tibetan Cuisine 😂
We did have Assamese food and most of the food was from the NE. And BGM is expensive, especially when you have 10 odd tracks per episode. But point taken. we try to be specific. -
Dude the videography, the presentation, the hosts, the places, heck even the captions are soo soo soo on point !!!!!!
Thank you for the awesome shout out to the entire team
I watch a lot of content but very rarely subscribe. Keep rolling out good sh!t like this consistently have my subscription
Welcome aboard!
I for one, love not just the food but both of your's chemistry as well as sense of humour, great as always🎉
Yay, thank you!
music is fireee
Woaahhhh.....porkalicious. Have to do a long Delhi trip next winter to digest all this good stuff. But I may just visit the North East before that as its too long a wait. Cheers boys.
You should!
I have been staying in Delhi for a better proportion of 10 years, and it was only just last week, that I got acquainted with Yo Tibet. The juiciest, most succulent pork momos in town, and that chutney. That brought Gangtok to the capital. Why was I eating momos elsewhere?
Its so so good
censoring buff is crazy... buff dishes are sold openly in delhi and gurgaon at-least
Lo Bhe#@&o , subscribe kar Diya .
Aise bolo na 😂

We have to figure that out
Now this is what you call food vlog...You guys are just amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it!, though we shoot it like a proper episode instead of a vlog
Guys, take care of your health, you were unwell even in Singapore.
Shanky had to endure a lot to shoot this, if your outlet is leaking, I don't know how he swallowed food.
Part of the process, much love
@@TheBigForkers I guess you were tight on schedule given you had a crew, but I guess Shanky will go again to all these spots when he is pink of his health.
Yeah, it's super tight. 15 days shoot schedule
I have to tell you guys, this BGM is really on point ❤️😁
Cheers

19:45 I think you had the feijoada in Boteco which is similar with beans with pork again. So, it's not unfamilar to you guys
Very true
@@TheBigForkers So, don't try these stunts! I being an ardent viewer remember each and every little events.! JK! LOL Do whatever that sells!

The last shot of Naga holding a dog was racist...
What?
Racism is in your mind not there's.
Lol “diarrhoea bahot hai”
Sid , Shanky ...how would you like a 3rd wheel ...I'd love to be there with you ...
I don't even eat pork and watched the whole episode with a hope to get something in beef from north eastern cuisine. Anyways it's good to see Delhi got it all from all parts of the country.
Beef is limited in the NE due to the terrain and population. But not completely missing from the cuisine either
Bhaiya,northeast is love!
It so is
Ek do vegetarian dish bhi order kar diya karo 😂
😂
Oh dear lord! I am salivating sitting at home here in Poland. 😭
We miss Poland
Don't like the beeping.

She is such a darling
Thekera for Shanky was serendipity !! Totally amazing food description and its so delightful to see you guys going to these places, having these conversations and just creating more opportunities for these food entrepreneurs!!
Hey, thanks a bunch for the love! We're all about good food and good vibes. Stay tuned for more tasty adventures!
music selection is too good
cheers
Wai wai the one you are having is of nepal .the owner brought the brand from Thailand but its nothing similar to what was made in Thailand
That is correct, the Choudharies
One of the ingredient that goes into making Laphing "Wai Wai" is a product of Nepal. How can it be a Tibetian dish?
Laphin actually comes from Liangfeng, of Chinese origin.
Wai Wai is not an ingredient, its an additional topping.
Food doesnt always have political boundaries and the addition of of Wai Wai is an example of such fun versions across the regions.
This Episode is the best Episode in entire Series and the Music is you use is giving feeling of North East 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
One of the most underrated channel on RUclips
0:49 Tibet's Map is not correct! Chinese and Tibetans will report this video ! :) Lolz only if they watch it!
