Yo Tibet
In 2008, Sonam Lhamo Bhutia and her husband opened Yo Tibet in Humayunpur, one of the neighborhood’s first eateries. It has since turned it into a staple of the local food scene. While the menu features Indian-Chinese favorites it’s the Tibetan classics that steal the show. We went for the laphing - a spicy, cold noodle dish that’s become a local favorite. Yo Tibet isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a slice of Tibetan culture in the heart of Delhi.
Lha Kitchen
In 2018, Dickey Bhutia opened Lha Kitchen. This Himalayan restaurant specializes in Nepalese, Bhutanese, Chinese, and Tibetan cuisines. We went for the dry Thukpa and the Kothey Momos.
Oh Assam
Oh! Assam offers cozy, home-style Assamese cuisine. Opened by home-chef Rubita ‘Ruby’ Brahma in 2017, it's known for its wholesome thalis, we came for the Duck curry, the Pork with Lai Shaak and the incredible tart Fish Tenga.
Hornbill
For rustic Naga food, Hornbill is the spot. Founded in 2015 by Khevito Elvis Lee and friends it’s all about bold Naga flavors. The standout dish is smoked pork with bamboo shoot and axone, and the Pork and beans salad. Another must try is the crunchy pork belly.

Same here, came directly to the comment section to see if anyone noticed HAHAHA!
Few cars we can fit into in India.
Have you tried fitting into the polo?
Now, this is what I call a food vlog….Man o man NorthEast food gems are so underrated. Everything looks magical. Instead of diverting to western food just travel to North-East....recipe changes in every up and down of the hill. As a foodie just loved this one. Amazing, mouth-watering. Hats off to you two because you were open to a different palate of taste altogether. One of the best video really satisfying both of you really enjoying. Love to the north east people and the cuisine.
Much love to you for taking the time to write this comment. Collectively we should address these cusines to a wider audience
Shanky's upset stomach looking at him going in for each byte 👁️👄👁️
Love the exploration Big Forkers, you guys are the best ❤️
Shanks pulled through to the point he could

Such a heart-touching watch for an Assamese soul in Delhi! Thank God for Humayunpur. ❤ Big love to the sound editor for slippin' in that Assamese music throughout. 🥹🫶
We have passed on your comment
So glad to see someone covering North eastern food. So nostalgic, need to run to my Nani house soon. Please do a veg North eastern food as well. It's the best meal, hands down.
I thought nothing could beat the Goan episodes, but this delhi series is gonna be so good. Can't wait, cheers 🍻!
Cheers
After all these Rocking videos and adventurous food tours,I wonder how your channel hasn't hit 500k minimum!!You are the best Mother Forkers
Good food, big appetites interspersed with generous sprinkling of spontaneous humour, and North East cuisine! Big Yorkers, you guys are genuine gastronomics, foodies is too pedestrian 😮 to even think of y"all as such; and that nice, slow walkthrough of different food styles. Terrific. You guys need to do more NE food episodes. Loved this bit, and that thing about "veg thorri khata hain hum...; veg se allergy hain" really got me!!
Thanks man! 😁🍻
I like how sid keeps mentioning "I should bring my family here". Whatta lovely chap :')
The fun thing is, Humayunpur is mainly well known among the students here in Delhi. It's fairly affordable and just great food.
Majnu Ka Tila also has the same vibe, being a Tibetan settlement. You'll find Aunties making laphing just outside the monastery, and the restaurants are also damn good and always inexpensive.
I love these places as much as any fancy restaurant you could go in Delhi :) Loved that you had a great day there.
It's such a gem
Dude the videography, the presentation, the hosts, the places, heck even the captions are soo soo soo on point !!!!!!
Thank you for the awesome shout out to the entire team
Now these are the videos I'm subscribed to The Big Forkers for. Great content guys, the video makes me want to fly to Delhi, get to Humayupur and spend 4-5 days just devouring the food there.
The spread looks absolutely delicious, poor shanky, feel bad for him.
All the best guys, a banger second episode to a great new season.
Cheers 🍻

The food is excellent, and the owner, she is such a gem.
BGM throughout the video on point 🔥🔥

I don't even eat pork and watched the whole episode with a hope to get something in beef from north eastern cuisine. Anyways it's good to see Delhi got it all from all parts of the country.
Beef is limited in the NE due to the terrain and population. But not completely missing from the cuisine either
@@TheBigForkersno.. it's not...we Bihari muslims especially from Magadh region have so many beef dishes...like bihari kebab..aur pulao gosht...and other delicacies too..beef is an integral part ofnour cuisine and it's quite available here
Great Video. Sid has great knowledge about different cuisines. Despite upset stomach Shanky still tried the food and gave review.
Shanks is a soldier for food
Always as usual comforting!
Glad you think so!
Lai Haak with Gahori is love

First video that i watched of you guys man you guys content is sooo dam good 🔥🔥
Welcome to the tribe
You should've picked Bhansaghar for Assamese food.
Next time 👍✌️
Steam rice with pork slice is a NE dish not a Tibetan dish. 😂 sorry Tibetan brothers and sisters
Y'all are filling the gap that Rocky and Mayur left!
Rocky is still making content at History 18

Guys, take care of your health, you were unwell even in Singapore.
Shanky had to endure a lot to shoot this, if your outlet is leaking, I don't know how he swallowed food.
Part of the process, much love
@@TheBigForkers I guess you were tight on schedule given you had a crew, but I guess Shanky will go again to all these spots when he is pink of his health.
Yeah, it's super tight. 15 days shoot schedule
Khana hai par hai nah...i
Bro it hit really hard😢😢😢
19:45 I think you had the feijoada in Boteco which is similar with beans with pork again. So, it's not unfamilar to you guys
Very true
@@TheBigForkers So, don't try these stunts! I being an ardent viewer remember each and every little events.! JK! LOL Do whatever that sells!
Hahahaha, this was very new in the indian context re. Also we forgot about the Feijoada ..hahahaha

I have been staying in Delhi for a better proportion of 10 years, and it was only just last week, that I got acquainted with Yo Tibet. The juiciest, most succulent pork momos in town, and that chutney. That brought Gangtok to the capital. Why was I eating momos elsewhere?
Its so so good
That’s the point 9:30🤣🤣😂
hahaha, pretty much
you should definitely mention the price of the dishes you eat.
That's for vloggers
