    I just ordered one based on your review, it should be here tomorrow. Now just need to pick a go to controller for my Switch

    • @GameTechTalk

      Are you more of a docked player or handheld for Switch? Also, I just received the Warrior from NYXI, that might be a solid contender for if you are more "docked", stay tuned for that one! Cheers :)
      Edit: Thanks for seeing value in my content btw!

      @@GameTechTalk I'm definitely more of a docked player. I do play handheld some but I use the Hori Pros when I do that. I have the switch pro controller for docked but just haven't ever been blown away by it. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the NYXI review and thanks

    Finally, someone showed the rumble on these at 7:59 ! Thanks for that 👍
    Which 3rd party controller would you rank higher in terms of rumble, though? Just curious

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  4 месяца назад

      Well that depends, I think HD rumble is better even when translated from rotary motor rumble solutions. So if thinking rumble exclusively, I'd prioritize that. Right now, the NYXI Warrior is king and terms of features with HD rumble but it's also a completely different DNA. I think I'd recommend the GameSir Nova the most. It's not your most "feature-rich" controller but it's extremely versatile, has great feature set and offers HD rumble while retaining a very well balance of features, and it polls at 500hz wired, which is amazing. If you don't care for HD Rumble and just want a great rotary rumble experience, I'd go Apex 4. Keep in mind, both those suggestions won't work on Xbox though. If you mean specifically for Xbox, Microsoft's controller has the best rumble so far but the T4 Kaleid for Xbox that is releasing today has a lot of neat features for rumble (reviewing will be released in the next 24hrs) but it's also wired only.
      Lots of products mentioned here ahahah, if you have questions let me know. Also, if you make a purchase, I'd happily provide you with an affiliate link as it helps the channel. Cheers!

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  5 месяцев назад +1

      While much like a regular Xbox controller, the dongle and controller also uses wifi band (most likely 2.4ghz), they don't necessarily use the same frequency. This is extremely likely to be what causes the issue you're having, radio interference.
      In a nutshell, until a manufacturer let's us manually change the bands and hertz frequency, these things can and will happen. My best advice, though an unfortunate one, would be to connect over bluetooth or wired, see if the problem persists and if it does, the hardware is at fault. If it stops, it means it's something in your environment causing radio interference. Unfortunately, if you live close to other people, it might be coming from them too. Otherwise, frequencies can be changed on like routers, wifi antennas on cellphones and computers, changing those could also help eliminate the problem completely but doing that is a process of its own.
      It's unlikely that this reply will clarify everything for you, I'd have to write a novel so my apologies but that's a place to start and also likely an explanation as to why you may not be able to fix that issue anytime soon. Good luck!

      @@KingDonLuciano That is crazy my guy! I can definitely tell you this, as much as I love the dock, I find that the "alignment" of the pogo pins with the "magnet" are not strong enough, if I had to guess, your controller sat in a way that it wasn't perfectly aligned. Maybe off by a millimeter or so, I'd seen that with mine and the dock, but the problem is when those pogo pins charge, they generate heat, absolutely normal too.
      Probably what happened is the current over compensated from the connection not being perfect causing the pins to get really hotter, it melted through the plastic and created concentrated heat vacuum on important components, causing the outcome you got...
      Lucky you caught it tbh cause indeed, if you had fallen asleep throughout the night, that could have been way way worst. Turtle Beach better replace that controller and even throw a goodie in there, that's wild! Thanks for the info, I'll be extra careful when I sit mine.

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  2 месяца назад

      That's a tough question. If looking at polling rate alone, the Apex 4 has the upper hand. If looking for the customizable most controller, I'd also say the Apex 4 has the upper hand. When talking just the best amount of unique features? The Turtle Beach is a controller that still remains one I frequently revisit because it is really really good. These days, I like my TB a bit more if I'm being honest.
