This score captures the vibe of overwhelming and god-like force, it doesn't feel like the theme of a villain or anything particularly evil. No. It comes off as a force of nature. To quote Mass Effect, a true god is a verb a force of nature that warps reality, it doesn't have to want to in order to do it. Everything that is in its path is consumed and destroyed, that is just what it does and it does it without passion or remorse. That is what this song conveys the Egyptian Gods as.

Personally I find this too in your face. I preferred the Japanese for its subtle, yet impacting, keys. Also I like the orchestral score of the Japanese version above the Gregorian chants of the English.

Yugioh was set in highschool in season 0. 5D's was about thugs on motorcycles. Joey or even TRISTAN could look more badass on motorcycles any of those 5Ds losers could EVER BE, and were the coolest thugs EVER. The original Yugioh cast, and every single season from 0 through 6 till the end of every arc, will ALWAYS be the better Yugioh!!!

In hindsight, 4Kids did something right when they have this theme play when Yugi summons Sky Dragon Osiris (not calling him Slifer, as Osiris sounds better) in his duel against Yami Bakura in Battle City, which dispels the red sky Yami Bakura caused via field magic cardl.
