Love your attitude. When sick (lemons), slow down and make comfort videos (lemonade). Can so relate to your life bro. Can't wait for my Hobby Jogger hat!
Its a crime that you are only at 16k subs. Freaking love your vids man. Keep putting in the work, we appreciate it. On another note, I have the Prime X Strung 2. It's an odd duck. Very high stack, extremely cushioned and responsive, but extremely bottom heavy. When I do run in them I start feeling the weight after just a few miles, but my legs stay absolutely fresh after long runs. They work great for me even at slow easy paces but you do feel that plate pop when you pick it up a bit. They are faster then they should be for the weight. Upper fits weird, definitely feel the laces and have to tighten down to prevent heel slip due to the plate stiffness. I do love the ride but the upper is just okay from a fit perspective. Got some blisters on my Achilles on a long run, has an odd heel counter. Watch for sales.... got mine for 210 direct from adidas
Absolutely love your videos! Been running in the 1080 v13 quite a bit this summer and it has helped with some of my plantar fasciitis flare ups, so I’d have to agree!
I work at a running store over here in germany and run between 35 and 50 miles a week my self. Because of that I‘m always lookin for my next shoe and like to switch my shoe line-up around a lot. Your longer reviews have a relaxing asmr-like feel and have been my favourite shoe-related vids on this platform. Thank you for your service to the running nerds community. Best Ben
In his marathon debut, Wesley Kiptoo of Hoka NAZ Elite and Kenya got 12th overall in the 2023 Chicago Marathon and wore the pre-release black and white version of the Cielo X1.
I’m in my 3rd pair of 1080s. Amazing shoe for me as an older forefoot runner. Springy and soft when I go for time on feet of 2 hours or more which is often, then I don’t even flinch. 1080 all the way!
NB 1080 v13 is crazy good. I’ve been running for 2 months only, but i bought them a week ago and i managed to run 30k (18.6 miles) 3 days ago. No pain whatsoever, super comfy.
Bro, I am finding myself relying more and more on your shoe reviews for a balanced opinion. Keep up the great work. I'm watching from Queensland Australia.
Can you do a video about your current favourite shoe rotation? Recovery- daily-Speed- long run- race a 4-5 shoe rotation. Also s second set of honourable mention
For pure time on feet, I prefer something balanced. I tried the Nimbus for work but it made my feet tired because of how much foam there is but I do see others wearing it. The Hurricane looks pretty good for those who want something really protective. For a smaller guy, my most comfortable shoe right now is the Adizero SL2. It's soft but not really high stacked and it was amazing for time on feet during my vacation. The More v3 was also really comfortable for running and I wore it to work for months until it flattened out. The More v4 was a totally different shoe and lost that magic. My kids both need new shoes. If RW has what I need, I'll definitely use your link. Happy wife, happy life. :)
Two shoes I recommend that are amazingly comfortable for running and Waking that you should test : - Asics Gel-Cumulus 26 . It has maybe the best heel to toe transition feel of the year. It has no rocker like the Gel-Nimbus 26 or the geometry bounce of the Nova Blast 4 but it is better then both. A super addicting shoes to use ; - Mizuno Wave Sky 8 , I got it recently and only got two long runs on them. They have the comfort of a Gel-Nimbus 26 and 1080 v13 but with more stability and a super soft bounce that so propulsive that only loses a bit to the Invincible 3. And the Sky 8 weights a tiny more then the 1080 and it is 10 times more versatile. Another great video ! Keep the great work incoming non stop !
Hey Yowana! Your recommendations are on the point. Picked up 2 shoes solely off of your videos without testing them myself, and they did not disappoint! I picked up the Novablast 4 a few months cause of you, I have about 200 miles on em now (super happy with them for cruising, but found them tough for slow recovery runs). I just got the 1080v13 three days ago, cause of you again. Holy king of softness haha! I'm over the moon and inlove with em. My current shoe rotation is now the Saucony Speed 3, Novablast 4, and 1080v13. Thinking about getting the Pro 4s to complete the rotation now. You're the best! PS: Sorry I couldn't get the 1080v13 through your running warehouse link, the Dick's near me had a clearance sale on the green colorway for $110, but if you could drop a link for some maurten gels I would love to support the channel that way :) looking forward to repping the hobby jogger hat. Thanks a bunch as always bro 🪓🪓🪓
Thanks my guy for the shoutout. Yes , I can confirm brands use a “road-grade” EVA to soften up the feel of the shoe. Definitely not as durable as rubber, but it softens up the ride and reduces weight . Personally I’d sacrifice softness and less-weight for rubber and durability .
I laughed when you muted out the info on the 1080v14. I'm really hoping the v14 gets some of the bounce from the more v5 and balos you talked about. Loving that the Hurricane 24 is at the top of the list. So comfortable and the way it rolls when I walk is fantastic. Wouldn't have considered it if it weren't for your channel! Thanks
Great summary video. Might need to look at the 1080 when they go on sale for some cheap miles. And that 1500m race was crazy!!!! USA for the double medal!
I have the Rebel V4 because sneakerhead reviews said it was the best. So glad I also have the 1080 v13 and it was top 2 for them. And I’m happy I transitioned into running now I got the best of both worlds. My Hot Take: Nike Invincible Run 👎💩 Because of durability issues. It sole separated after a 5k LOL.
I have over pronation and almost flat feet. I’ve found the invincible run 3s to be amazing for walking and especially for running which is surprising cause i was able to run a 8 mile long run with these on and felt pretty great at a easy effort which is 7:30 pace for me.
Love this - also Max cushion gang. The one caught my attention is how you clean white shoes. Yours look awesome, can you share how you maintain white shoe looks so clean. Thx bro
I'm excited to see where the hoko bondi 8, gaviota, skyflow, puma mag max nitro will slot in to your top ten. Man so many shoes to review, give this man the shoes!
I'll nickname this the fire hydrant video. What I've heard about the 1080v14 is that there are very few changes to it from the v13. One thing about your videos is the ton of cultural references, many that are somewhat new to me as I'm an older runner. I suspect that I will look for the 1080v13 later this year.
Put some respect on the nimbus 25. Just as soft as the 1080v13. The 26 is a bit stiffer. I’m speaking for those who long runs are equivalent to your sick recovery runs.
Cielo X1 is amazing. Totally agree. NB4 at only 140, how can you go wrong. I was torn between Balos and Puma, I ended up getting the Puma MagMax instead, but I’m still thinking of that Balos lol. It’s official that we have WAY too many shoe choices now.
Thank you for the kind words! Definitely the Saucony hurricane 24 - it's comfortable but supportive with a soft and bouncy ride. Let me know if you have any questions as you continue the running journey 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
love this type of video! can you do one for top 10 best value for your money? not necessarily the lowest price shoes, im willing to pay more money for a shoe that will last 300-500miles than for a cheap shoe that will die out at 150miles.
It would be great if you could also recommend some "first" marathon shoes in one of the next reviews. Not for the people looking for sub-3 but just for a comfortable finish while being able to keep the pace relatively easier. I assume 1080 or More would be hard to go above average pace because of the lack of bounce whereas SkywardX could be an option. Superblast2 or Diadora Gara may be an overkill for a first marathon compared to these comfy ones? thank you!!!
I normally use the Novablast 4 for my longer slower runs (ran a 55k in them in June) and I love comfortable shoes that are not heavy (I wear size 14 and I find the Nimbus too heavy for long runs), I am tempted to try a new shoe, especially the Balos. I was thinking the 1080v13, but I have seen people say it is too soft for super long runs. I assume listening to you talk about the Balos, that it might be a better version of the 1080v13 for long runs?
Just orderd sum New Rebel 4 hands down most comfy shoe for me. They gona be my new daily trainers for out n about. As for runs im a one shoe kinda guy and need order new ones as ma rebel 4s are coming to end of there life after just 260 miles. Any recommendations mate a like to get around 500ish.

I feel like I have noticed that a little more in your vids, and I wanted to shout it out! Would you ever consider creating a weighted point system for different shoe features (based on what is most important to you) to help us quantify what’s what (given your tastes and preferences) and have a spreadsheet or chart system that lets us compare different shoes by SupScore? Or might that ever be a feature of the Supwell site? Sometimes it feels so subjective when listening to shoe reviews, viewers like me might not have a ton of experience with a lot of shoes, but we do have a lot of experience with a select few pairs. Intimate knowledge of one particular shoe might give us a baseline to compare that shoe’s weighted score against the specific/new shoe that’s being features in any given review you are doing. I know you bring other shoes out to compare, but my I’m not going to lie, my head is spinning by then! At the end of the day, you do you - you’re doing an amazing job & your enthusiasm for running is infectious!
I run exclusively in vibram fivefingers for the past 12 years. They feel great and are very durable, averaging 1500kms each. Has anyone else tried vff?
Invincible 3 very soft, first time buying this type of shoe. One con is I don't like how the upper feel, very plasticky or soccer cleats-like feel. Also to anyone wanting the invincible 3, on Nike right now 8/7 its around 80ish US dollar
The 680s use a different type of foam and will be firmer. They use "Fresh Foam" vs "Fresh Foam X" in the 1080v13, which is super confusing. But the 1080s are softer and more cushioned. You can find the 1080v13 for sale in a lot of places right now since the v14 came out recently though
Hello. 🍁🤩KAMAL/64 years old Sorocaba/SP/BR🤩🍁 I'm in doubt between PUMA DEVIATE NITRO 2️⃣ or PUMA DEVIATE NITRO 3️⃣ To run 3 times a week. 2aF/16km 4aF/19km 6aF/21or24km. Pace 7.4 to 5.8 I run because I like it. To maintain health. I try to evolve and overcome my limits, not others. What's your suggestion between the two? THANK YOU for your kindness in responding. @@TK-gx3ws so I was hesitant to get the Eclipse and buying the cloud surfer which I liked but for me not enough stack, the Eclipse in the other hand has tons of stack feels great but, that speed board being on the bottom of the shoe dictates where I can use the shoe and it’s great almost everywhere mall, (roads with no rocks!!!) is about the only place I would dare not go. The shoe is very light and I like how it feels very minimal and lite. I have found myself wearing it more and more because I’m a bigger guy 6’4 300lbs.
@@TK-gx3ws and my more v5s priceless…. I wear them on my 10 mile fast walks I can’t run because an accident I have no ankle joint rod and screws so it don’t bend ands I have to have tons of cushion so I don’t aggravate the bad foot, but I am finding I am wearing my oncloud Eclipse a lot more after I got it broken in, just remember everyone’s feet are different what’s good for me may not be good for you folks!!! Have a good one

I feel like SL2 deserved an honorable mention or maybe even replace/tied with the Novablast. It’s a super comfortable shoe IMO.
Some miles is better than no miles. Bang.
Love your videos man! I have the Invincible 3 and the 1080v13. Really love them! Gotta agree with you; the 1080 is the most comfy shoe I've ever had.

Yeah hurricane is great because it has that stack and soft feeling without being overly mushy. SL2 is great as well - would've made the top 15 😂
If this helps - I have the Nimbus 24 and it took a while to compress the foam. I am really liking it now. Treat from Yowana a while back!! :)

Chai tea with honey ❤️ and what is the ranking of Nimbus 25 in your most comfortable shoes list?
you funny asl bruh, that mini cooper and wayfair comment cracked me up
Put some respect on the nimbus 25. Just as soft as the 1080v13. The 26 is a bit stiffer. I’m speaking for those who long runs are equivalent to your sick recovery runs.
Hahaha yeah 25 deserves some respect. I put almost 300 miles on that one and it got dethroned when i got the 1080

1080v13 or 1080v14? I'm in the market to buy 1080s

Best part at 36:19 😁
Would you compare the prima to the vomero with a better drop? I know the foam isn’t as flashy as zx. But in its use case?

Fellow size 14 shoe wearer here. The 1080 was too soft for me - bottomed out right out of the box. Similar feel to the Rebel v4 experience I had

Nike Pegasus turbo 4, errr peg plus. I know Nike has a major distribution plant in Memphis.., but I could be wrong.
Triumph 21 is then GOAT
Invincible 3 very soft, first time buying this type of shoe. One con is I don't like how the upper feel, very plasticky or soccer cleats-like feel. Also to anyone wanting the invincible 3, on Nike right now 8/7 its around 80ish US dollar
Where's Running Warehouse Brazil? 😂
Bought many times @ RW but shipping costs and duty taxes are too high.
Im interested in the NB 680'S v8 comparison to the 1080's v13 because they look very similar in the sole, and the 680's are cheaper!
Everybody driving around getting ready for TS Debby…
Would Adistar 3 make the list? will you get it?
I've heard great things so far! Planning to test that one at some point this year
Hello.
🍁🤩KAMAL/64 years old Sorocaba/SP/BR🤩🍁 I'm in doubt between PUMA DEVIATE NITRO 2️⃣
or
PUMA DEVIATE NITRO 3️⃣
To run 3 times a week. 2aF/16km
4aF/19km
6aF/21or24km.
Pace 7.4 to 5.8
I run because I like it.
To maintain health.
I try to evolve and overcome my limits, not others.
What's your suggestion between the two?
THANK YOU for your kindness in responding. I wait
I have the Eclipse and I found myself walking in it a lot now, but I still walk my 10 miles walking in my more v5s
Details!
@@TK-gx3ws what do you wanna know my friend
@@TK-gx3ws what type details you want I have a lot of these shoes he shows here but mostly New Balance
Hello Yowana from Morocco 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦, I find your analyses perfect and targeted,
I am a little surprised not to find Asics Superblast 2 in your list, can you tell us why please.
Hey! The superblast is more of a speed shoe than a comfort shoe. I haven't tried that superblast 2 yet but I will be testing soon
Did the 860v14 not make your list?
The 860 is still very comfortable and versatile but I went with mostly super soft max cushion shoes for this list
@@supwell thanks. Is the 860 still more comfortable than the majority of the shoes here for walking?
