I've lost track of how many times I've watched these kids (adults now). Amazing, every one of them. I love it!
I keep coming back to watch this video as well. Personally I like their cover better than the original. The band is tight and the dual lead vocals really kick ass. They play so well off of each other.

I stumbled upon the O'Keefe Music Foundation in July of 2018. Little did I know at that moment my life was about to change forever in the most amazing and devine way. Up until the moment I watched my first video of these absolutely amazing kids... people...angels, covering Tool's 46 and 2, also coincidentally the first time I'd actually heard the song at all...and I thought I was a huge Tool...fan, my life had taken a dark and dangerous path to almost certain demise. But literally in the lowest loneliest most hopeless moment of my life, suddenly there was light. Warm. Safe. Calming light in my life. Out of nowhere. It was the light from my Phone as I watched the The O'Keefe Foundation students cover, and very righteously cover, 46 and 2. I was speechless. Mesmerized. It was my salvation I was watching and listening to and it felt like nothing else has ever felt in the world. Not only hearing the lyrics and music for the first time and admiring in awe the raw talent and determination of these young adults, but simultaneously having the epiphany that it was all happening for a reason at the exact right time and place. Thank you all. Rock on.

I love this duet. The band is great! You can see that about half way through the song the band kinda relaxes and kinda falls into the song and starts having fun. I’d like see a remake now that everyone is older. See how the band has honed there skills and what the singers voices sound like now. It would be awesome..... I’m sure!!

slinky vagabond i had one that was cool like this but for after school only. 3 of us, normally ripping Nirvana, Green Day ( old Green day - 90's Era ), Weezer, and tons more.
AS LONG, as we could break the music down to learning terms. average BPM, key being played in, measure count, when crescendo's and decrescendo's occured in vocal and guitar sequences, he would allow it.
so we were both learning and enjoying it. principal was cool with it.
Why is no one talking about her voice? It's not everyday that a woman (or female in general) can sing rock like that. She's good!

That was great! The guitar sounded slightly off but I can't even play so take that for what it's worth.. The vocals were amazing- and that female singer is a BEAST! WELL DONE!

slinky vagabond She's a way better singer than all the poptarts that are popular today. The others were pretty good (honestly better than most versions by GNR themselves, other than the one on the actual album) but she was just incredible.
I agree this was very well done. Not perfect, but I don't expect that, but still awesome (I'm a huge fan of Aaron O'Keefe and what he is doing)....but now I'm waiting for UNDERGROUND 360 Official RUclips Channel to come on here and tell us its a Karaoke track and all that rot...

I don't think I have ever seen someone have so much fun on drums before, awesome.
I love what this foundation is doing for these kids. Sure, the talent and music is off the charts but more importantly what you see throughout all the videos is discovery. Kids discovering a voice, acceptance and a place in the creation of something. I've seen kids in some of the videos sing songs that you would never think possible and unbelievable talent showcased on instruments.
The young ladies reaction at the very end is priceless.
An outlet for kids that battle shyness, acceptance or just need a chance to try something new is crucial. It's cool that there are kids from 5 through the teenage years as well.
Your foundation is simply awesome and thank you for what you are doing.

Excellent band. Excellent singers. Both of them. The female singer reminds me of a young Grace Slick. And that's saying a hell of a lot. The drummer takes a back seat to no one. The bass and guitars are awesome. I would pay to see the O'Keefe kids play. Any of them. Anywhere. Who needs Idol and all the rest. Put O'Keefe on TV and forget the rest.

It's fun watching the older videos and seeing these kids progress. the male singer did a bunch when he was younger and you could tell he struggled on some songs but he has evolved and found his voice as he got older. bravo
That girl has a terrific vocal. I`ve seen many O`Keefe videos, there is a lot of great future prospects, but this girl is complete vocalist already. That fast vibrato is particularly crazy good.

The lead guitarist wasn't bad at all. He might have been off with the timing at times but in the end he kept that Rock 'n' Roll feel going. That's part of a musician's skill, keeping the flow alive even when you're not hitting the notes perfectly.
