Murderer or not - A single cell is the way forward for a disabled prisoner (All of disabled prisoners) A disabled man in an SA Prison would certainly get special treatment - from the other inmates. There's no way to euphemise it, but gangs often rule the prisons and a good-looking white prisoner would be hugely targeted for rape and other abuse that would likely verge on torture. Joining a gang would be one protection, but in a cell with over 30 people in it - not much hope for a disabled man to carry out a 'normal' sentence. Amnesty International level torture would be part of his life, without a single cell.
