I absolutely love the way you guys show a quick video of the entire build in the intro so viewers can decide whether they want to spend the time watching the entire video without wasting our time!!! Love the build. Keep up the great work!
This van is a death trap. A (single) rear or front end collision with cause most that wood to shatter and splinter , sending projectiles all throughout the van. The batteries also will come flying forward ripping free of the cables. 20 other terrible problems besides the immediate obvious I just pointed out. Safety before pretty visuals are the things to keep focused on .
@@richkreyche7064 can you explain the wood issue further. I'm building out a Chevy Express and want to line the walls and ceiling with cedar wood. How can I make it safe? Thx! I'm very new to Van life.
@@yogawithkeigan you cannot buy any vehicle on earth from any automaker with wood ceilings or walls, for good reason. Wood shatters like a grenade with impact. I’m sure you’ve seen the ( crash dummy’s) test on tv for airbags. The wood fragments even (spear) the airbags. I’ve worked in surgery for 30 years with countless Van injuries from projectiles in accidents. This guy doesn’t even have a cage separator ( forgot the term) btw the cargo area and front passenger seats. You may drive for 30 years without accident but everyone has one at some point in time. Possible solution for ceiling n walls is 4 by 8 sheets of that mold proof pvc at Home Depot???? Just a guess , that, 1 or 2 large pieces are safer than 40 or 50 pieces of pretty cedar? I’m gonna build out a van late next year. Just using common sense. Keep weight low above most things. Watch what auto makers do and don’t do!
The inside is da bomb .. I have an E150 with one overload leaf in the back each side and 2 inch blocks. I also put "Moog" E450 springs in the front with a one inch coil spring spacer and alignment keys to give the van a "2WD Van with a 2.5 inch lift". If you've already done this. Disregard and enjoy your van handling better than the best Porsche cars. Dope van ...enjoy it.
Really liked the video but the intro music was too loud and your voice was too low. So I had to turn the volume way down at first and then crank it for the remainder.
Its so roomie & that makes all the difference. I like the seat/pottie. I would like the bed lower but U did everything spot on! Good job & thanks for sharing😎👍💪✌
Love the build, the only 2 things I would change is the My Buddy heater ( gives a wet heat need a dry heat [, help cut down mold problems]) and add a portable shower
Nice build brother. Perfect for traveling and hitting trails wherever. I'm in the very beginning stages of my adventure. Looking for the right van and the specs I require. It's been a long search and to be honest,a pain in the ass. I'm picky and once I find the right one, I'm off to the races with the build. A lot of research and figuring out what I need and where to incorporate stuff. Your video was awesome, nice planning and placement. I've been planning for almost 3yrs and have been living out of my car for over a year to get a feel for needs and necessities along the way b4 the purchase of the right van for me. Thanks for the insight and inspiration, many happy trails to you
Loved it!!! I finally bought my Ford E-250 van today, going to start my conversion next month -- your video gave me some great ideas -- thank you, thank you!!
I love this except I am putting in a diesel heater and 4L16 scrubber batteries. I am glad to have more power and 400 watts solar. 20 gallon diesel tank will be in what is your garage area and front and back custom bumpers with locked aluminum tool boxes for storage. But kudos on all, I am soo copying many things you did! Love it! Hope mine turns out half as nice
Also I got lucky, Mine is a former handicap van so my floor was already dropped 6-8 inches throughout all but back axle area and is heavily reinforced. Just wish I could afford 4x4 :( Mine is a 2001 Econoline Club Wagon but was just $2000
You have done some very difficult construction. The panels and cabinets were fitted so closely to the curves of a vehicle. I have difficulty doing that in a box structure which is only slightly off square. Also admire your accomplishment with regard to the efficient design which I believe exceeds that of van conversion companies that were doing this for a business since before you were born.
I like what you did. And I too would lower the bed some. I have a line on a 2008 E-350 cargo van that is already insulated and covered in the back, but empty otherwise. It has a reconditioned 3.0 Turbo Diesel engine (not the original). It was wintered in Florida and has NO RUST. The price ($10K) is higher than I thought for a van this old, but everything is in super condition. Haven't decided yet.
The truth seems to me the best conversion ... I loved the distribution and the way you hid the kitchen, normally there are many designs of rolling kitchens. Greetings from Argentina
Beautiful build would be a little concerned about propane and electricity together what about CO2 detectors very nice though great job.Aswell as gas detectors etc.
Beautiful!! I might have to look you up. I'm in Marysville, Wa and seriously looking to down size from my ( park model) tiny house and buying a school bus to convert. Thank you for sharing, Nate ✌🌏✌
If you like this E350 tour, don't miss our E250 camper conversion video! ruclips.net/video/xkrdpWiEUD0/видео.html
Hi! I’m looking at a 2005 E350 with the 6.8L V10, is yours equipped with the same engine?
Ok I’ll
Seriously. So well thought out. I'd pay him to build one for me
This is probably the best Ford low top conversion I’ve ever seen.
Agreed. Until mines is done.
#2.
I was thinking the same thing
Great job!
Indeed very good
This is THE van build. I've probably watched a hundred of these tours. This might be the best one.
Agree, definitely one of the best layouts for a low roof I have seen as well!
I absolutely love the way you guys show a quick video of the entire build in the intro so viewers can decide whether they want to spend the time watching the entire video without wasting our time!!! Love the build. Keep up the great work!
Glad you enjoy it!
This guys the definition of chill
Dude your woodwork is friggin killer, good stuff!!
I love this! Especially the wood...I can’t wait to start my skoolie build in 7 months.. I definitely want a lot of wood and different textures.

@@richkreyche7064 wow makes senses! Thank you! Didn't even think about the added weight.
Now this is what you call a "sleeper".
Dang you have an awesome setup!
Good ideas, lived in a truck for 3 years and simplicity is the key. The dude knows what he’s talking about.
This rig is dialled! I can appreciate the craftsmanship here.
Dude looks chill.
All the secret storage in this amazing rig is perfect !!! This is one of the most efficient rigs if ever seen. What a great job !!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Wow, this is absolutely incredible. Best low roof van build I’ve ever seen hands down. Gorgeous work. The stove slide out was very smart
Very nice build! I love the amount of storage and the slide out stove is awesome. Good inspiration for my stealth build in a ford E150
I love the wood asthetic and creative set up. The ingenuity of it also reminds me of Forestry Forests' minivan set up. How refreshing!
Killer van and the best van video on RUclips, no wasted words just straight to the point much appreciated and a dope hoodie.
Thanks for watching!
I love all the small cubbies and stash spots. Those are ridiculously useful
Totally!
There it is........... the new gold standard for the low top van.
Agree. This layout seems perfect!
Really liked the video but the intro music was too loud and your voice was too low. So I had to turn the volume way down at first and then crank it for the remainder.
What a fantastic build, wow! Love the low profile cabinets and layout. So ingenious!
Prob the best E series build I’ve seen! Very nice. Especially the garage.
Glad you like it!
I love when I see someone enjoying life.
Very conscious build. Brilliant with the stove hidden under near the door. Well done.
Its so roomie & that makes all the difference. I like the seat/pottie. I would like the bed lower but U did everything spot on! Good job & thanks for sharing😎👍💪✌
Porta potti is a must. NOT a bucket like some profess. Good job.
Would have liked to seen the exterior though-rims,tires, etc
I'm currently a 5th-wheeler. But I could certainly bug-out in a rig like that! "Livin the nomadic dream"!!!
Yew!! Sick build for the mtn. Nate seems rad as hell too 🏂
I love the camper but I have to let this man know I have the same hoodie. Good choice.
I keep our large fridge between the front seats as well. Pretty convenient while driving/eating & space.
Wow nice to see someone does the wiring neatly. Very nice!
Best tour yet I’ve seen straight to the point! Thumbs up
Glad you enjoyed it!
I have to agree with so many other comments; this is probably the best van layout I've seen
What a completely well thought out conversion...the best that I've seen ! Bravo !
This is so beautiful . I love the set up first time I ever saw someone be able to cook from the toilet lol
Actually one of the best diy van builds I’ve seen. Wish you were on the East coast, I’d have you build mine.
Love the build, the only 2 things I would change is the My Buddy heater ( gives a wet heat need a dry heat [, help cut down mold problems]) and add a portable shower
Thanks for the suggestions!
Nah
Very nice van conversion

Awesome! Good luck with finding the right vehicle!
I love it bro I have been in the talks with the wifey about the Econoline E350 conversion for like you say the weekend warrior stuff.
That's some serious carpentry work! I was sold on the seat crate hidden toilet compartment.
You and me both!
Awesome build
Simple is better when you're off grid. Low tops like this are the soul of vanlife.
Great 👍🏻 camper build you made. Simple but loads of features.
Thank you for the tour of your van.
🇺🇸🙏🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Glad you liked it!
Great build man! I'm in the middle of building out my 07' e350. I like the modular approach too!
Right on!
i like the way you can cook a meal while taking a dump
I’m very fascinated by there vans and campers but I don’t have the knowledge or the ability to build these things myself. Great job it looks sick
Woh knarly dude…every nook and cranny dialed…super epic..
Very nice work and well thought out.
Definitely a thumbs up 👍
Thanks for the visit
My next build will definitely have that tall bed for the garage underneath!
And award for the best low top conversion goes to Mr. Nate.
Agreed!
WOW...
I am getting a Ford e350 extended and building a camper, but after looking at your layout. Shit.. I may need to rethink things.
i was thinking the same thing I just picked an 2013 E250 last week I had ideas , but what Nate just built gave me a better idea
mine is a E250 extended aswell
*cool I love it I know whoever gets this van will love it*
Loved it!!! I finally bought my Ford E-250 van today, going to start my conversion next month -- your video gave me some great ideas -- thank you, thank you!!
I love how he calls the underbed storage a garage 😂 good vibes lol
Very nice build, love all the wood.
Glad you like it
2006 e350..with small v8.. one of best Van's ever :)

Very functional and neat.
Great build. A few things i might do different but i learned more than i could recomend seattle needs to be in my mirror soon.
Right on
I immediately recognized that park , cool conversion man!
Just slightly beyond EXCELLENT!!!
Very nice build. The only thing I would change is sealed and vented compartments for the batteries and propane.
Love the setup! I always struggle with gear that won’t dry so thanks for the inspiration!
Bellingham! I miss living in Ferndale. And my favourite camping spots by My. Baker...up at the ski park.
Is Coconut Kenny's still their?

14k. So amazing. I'm buying a 2003 Ford E350 Extended van in great shape with 117k miles for $6700. If I can do half of what you did I'll be so happy.
Super sick build. Well done.
I'm glad you like it
Dude love the build bro love the cedar never thought of that wood SICK AF

Sweet 350 well thought out !!😀
Wow! Super rad design!!! 👌👌👌👌
In love with this man (and this van)

Nice build - great choice with the red cedar.
I think so too!

This looks incredible. Wish I was skilled enough to make something like this. Shout out Bellingham! Born and raised 🤟
This is so beautiful 😭
Nice build. Alot of good ideas I would just get rid of the closet and have a bigger bed.
That’s an amazing build! 👍🏻
It really is!
Propane next to the electric is a bomb waiting seriously need to do some home work I’m not just being a dock‼️
Awesome ride man!
WOW! awesome build you have there!

Nice build, I've been working on a 1979 Trans Van.
