This 'odd couple' picks a path together | Salvage Upcycle Show #5

ABOUT THIS EPISODE: Denise Williams, owner of Soul Pickers, and Stephanie Harrelson, Owner of MIX Galleria, met a few years back while running successful businesses in Norfolk, Virginia. After getting to know each other, they decided they could do even better by working together. And a little over a year ago, this modern day, vintage odd couple, took a leap of faith and opened their own store - The Yard/1904 Granby. They describe it as a 'fresh blend of new and vintage furniture, decor and more,' where Denise does the picking (and most the talking) and Stephanie does most of the design work. In this episode, we talk to them about what it takes to blend their unique personalities together under one roof and what it takes to be successful giving old things new life.
