Artist uses textiles and windows for creative reuse | Salvage Upcycle Show #7

ABOUT THIS EPISODE: Laura Davis plays a mean guitar. And she's made a living throughout her life showing others how to do it too. But it's her upcycled art that caught our attention; and the way she uses mainly repurposed materials to accomplish all kinds of creative magic. Her eclectic repertoire of reuse ranges from amazing paintings on salvaged windows, old fabric made into quilts that are uniquely her own and even a line of women's dresses repurposed from discarded men's clothing. We think she's a shining example of what it means to live life on your own terms ... your own way. So when she offered to let the Salvage Upcycle Show tag along for a couple of days while she set up and launched her latest exhibition in Virginia Beach, VA - "Domesticity" - we jumped at the opportunity.
