Nice project. Question though... Why the artificial live edge that you grinded in? Why sacrificing good wood for liquid plastic? I am trying to understand the design philosophy behind that decision. Thanks.
Hey, I couldn't figure out what mechanism you used exactly for your miter joints, mind telling me what mechanism you used to join them exactly, thanks!
Looks great! Though are you not worried about those feet restricting any seasonal movement across that board since there no give for it to expand and contract?
@@ManorWood Good to know, its always something in the back of my mind when making something thats a worry. learnt so much from this channel, appreciate it
Great to watch, and although you use a fair amount of expensive kit, its a project that you could make with more basic tools with a lot more time, and a supply of timber, oh and skill.
100% I am not showing on this channel how to make things with DIY tools thats for sure , but most of my designs are simple so you can do then with very little (and lots time) .. Cheers !
Can't even see the resin and I hope the TV going on it isn't heavy coz toughened glass weakest point are the edges and corners where you've got the full weight being bared other than that nice piece
Client didn't what a bright purple or blue metallic type resin finish, this is very subtle and looks great i real life makes people walk over a touch it so I am told. as for load the average 43" LCD tv is around 9Kg the mitre joint is so tight that only small part of the load gets transferred down to the glass which is 10mm furniture grade. Best
Ok. I’m extremely envious of this guys shop.
Amazing work as always. Never cease to amaze me with your designs, resin work and craftsmanship. Keep up the fantastic work 👍🏻
Thank you!
Amazing design, great craftsmanship.
After watching Jonny Builds spoil all his hard work using an unnatural blue tinted epoxy, it good to see someone who appreciates wood
Really a nice look, glad you did not include the sub with the design. The vibration would eventually do some kind of damage. Just a great look.
Sub was Bluetooth on this Sound Bar :)
Daaaamn it, another great one.
A lovely piece awesome
Awesome! I loved the design!
Great technique and a beautiful result!
Beautiful, great build as usual.
That's pretty schmikko, mate👍
Nice and sleek, love the not over complicated design 👌
Cheers Bill . simple is my gaol , but it takes a while for me to work how to do it Lol
@@ManorWood 😂 I hear ya, mate😥
"Schmick" was the word that came to my mind too! Cheers, David.
@@drmkiwi I agree, Andy is in a class of his own I think.

Holy moly, long sleeves @ 0:40 when working on planer! This guy is tired of living or smthng?
I get lots of people saying this stuff , most of the time it’s just the camera angle. But thank for for taking the time to comment on my safety
Looks cool
cool design.
you idiot?
what design? There is no design, some ass. If he wanted to make the design look like shit, he did it.
Nice work, is there a subwoofer for that soundbar and did you think about incorporating it?
Yes this one has a Bluetooth wire free Sub..
9:24 What is that called? That you are using to hold the boards together

I really like that table. I was wondering do you have plans for that scissor workbench and how much is it for the plan?

Great build! Thought you were going to use that ugly green board for a bit, then I saw the glass and realized what you were doing. 😆
cheers !
Hey, how many coats of Osmo Top Oil did you use ? Thanks
Great job bytheway, never disappointed
2 coats for this .. and Thank you
Nice!
Wau einfach nur klasse gebaut Gruß Stefan aus Bamberg
Just a quick question. Do you have much success selling your products through Etsy? Only I’m thinking on setting up a page on there.
Yes , it’s a great place for people to get in touch as well
Nice!:)
cheers mate :)
I sometimes wonder if you used to skate? All the vans shoes stuff makes me think you used to skate or bmx.
Yes both , more BMX in the end I now ride DH Mounting bike with my son :)
I used to do both as well to many knee surgeries so I can't do it like used to. Still love slip on vans!
Can people explain why the thumbs down?

As long as the TV doesn't jump up and down, the glass should hold just fine.
Ok i have a Dolby atmos soundbar with speaker on top so I can’t do that 😭
🤙
roll ur sleeves up. when working with machines
can you talk?
nice, cable management must be a bitch though
Cheers ..This one had no problem as wall sockets were behind the Tv , I can also supply a back panel if need :)
