I use to work here back in the 90’s. Great to see inside again and so sad to see the damage. The statues on the stairs are all Greek and roman gods. The stained glass windows are saints, these windows the stair case and chimneys are all from the old house that burnt down in 1843. I set up the wine cellar you were in when I worked there and the big copper bins were used for logs for the fire place in the main hall. Its sad to know that a building like that with such complicated roof structure will probably never be repaired but will be slowly gutted of its interior fixtures carvings and panelling which will end up in auction houses or similar and the house will just decay to a ruin. But at least those pieces will live on somewhere else. Thank goodness its not been vandalised or graffitied. The Huntress is probably Artemis. Great video thanks.
Wow guys I would have 💩 in my pants😳...
I'm sorry that happened to you 😔 but thank you so much for it. That place is just beautiful. Such a shame it's in such a state and I hope they can get it repaired before it's ruined. Thanks again be safe out there.
If you are into old books you can tell what decade their from by the fonts on the first couple of pages, as soon as your mate opened the book next to the 1805 book, I could tell it was from the 20s by the font, Ive just started reading about antique books, so I'm made up I got that right, it is sinking in lol
That place needs urgent attention now, if it is not to become impossible to rescue. It must be a listed building. I hope someone acts very soon.
