  • One of the most untouched abandoned locations I have ever explored, there is a sad story to this but unfortunately I don’t know the whole truth.. all we know is the wife sadly passed away and the husband just couldn’t care to live here on his own anymore..

I think that when someones mobile phone has been left that is not a good sign. Something suddenly happened to someone. Looks like it was a happy home before that. Terribly sad. Massive respect & good wishes to the family.

It is so sad to see all of their belongings just sitting there, eventually rot away...what a beautiful find! I truly hope young punks don't go in there and vandalize this beauty! It is actually one of the nicest homes you've found! Wow!

I used to watch other explorers a lot but got really tired of the way they treated the homes they broke into. I haven’t watched any explorer videos in about three years and then I found you. Your respect and kindness and gentleness are just wonderful to see. Even the way you talk about your explorations is gentle. You’re awesome. I’ve been binge watching you for days now. AND SHARING,!💕

This is the saddest video I have wstched recently. Everything appears like the folks were planning on returning! How gorgeous a place with awesome furnishings. Its so painful to see the damage done by the elements and the outside so overgrown. If a house could cry...this one surely would. :( :( :( :(

This house overwhelmed me with emotion when I saw the beautiful upstairs bedrooms with all the old family pictures, and obvious lives of love spent there, just left to decay and ivy and mold overgrowing everything. Tears filled my eyes. I've never had a house make me feel so sad before.

What an incredible place, imagine what life was like for Lucy growing up there when the property was at it's best! Such a shame places like this lie abandoned with all the memories still inside, like photos and letters. Thank you for sharing and double thank you for doing so with respect ❤❤❤

Speaking to one of the neighbours, wealthy businessman bought it and he moved in with his wife and daughter. They were a happy family, then tragically his wife was diagnosed with cancer, and three years after they moved in she died. The daughter got married and moved away to Birmingham with her husband. The man couldn't bear to be in the house on his own, so he locked the door and walked away from it, and moved in with his daughter. He told me it has a swimming pool. He also said that two people have shown an interest in buying the house.

Surely somebody must know what happened to the owners of this glorious old house and I cant get my head round why it hasn't been sold . It would need alot of money to bring it back to it's best but what a beautiful setting.

Lovely house, lovely interior. Some body worked hard to make it all lovely. A couple of guest rooms ready for visitors. A car crash? A double tragedy? A heart attack? Maybe someone who could not bear to go back? I think at first someone survived. Someone arranged for some attention for the house. Freezers emptied, a bucket under a leak, windows in the sunroom boarded over. Maybe someone is somewhere in a rehabilitation/care home still or maybe someone fled to relatives unable to cope?

Do you ever try to find out the history of why the properties are left? I have a feeling the family probably died in a tragic accident and the remaining family just could not face clearing the house.... I think trying to find out the history of why the house/property was left is really important and would complete the story of your video.

I love how respectful you lad's are. Alot of the other British urbex's I've seen come across as complete idiot's. One actually pissed up the wall in one of the house's they were exploring, another was nosying through some family photos and just threw them all over the floor!

I think this is one of my favourite house’s you’ve been to, the room proportions where great , the hallway really wide and the tiles on the floor beautiful, what a fabulous place it once must have been , such a shame to see it now , great explore thanks .

I feel there is some kind of heartbreak in that home.

This is absolutely stunning!!! Yet by far the most puzzling, not just the why when certainly some personal items have been taken but tonnes left too. The power on after about 15 years abandoned. How certain rooms are so Clean and immediately ready for use, or parts of rooms in superb condition and other rooms falling apart. Clearly once a loved happy family home, there's no evidence of age related mobility issues anywhere. Incredibly puzzling! And that upstairs viewing room was outstanding 💖💖💖💖

Its a shame the roofs falling apart and the water getting in as its a nice house. I wonder what happened to the family that lived there. The power is still on and its been 10 years since anyone has lived there. Some one is paying for the power as the power company would have cut it off long ago. You could live there for free. No one would know and the power is paid for by a kind benefactor. LOL
