Shopkins came out in 2013, but 2014 was when they were very popular. They kind of died down in 2020. Ryan's world and Suprise mini brands were more popular than shopkins in 2020. Lala Loopsy gain popularity in 2010 and I remember seeing them in stores around 2014. They kind of lost popularity over the years. Frozen was 2014 and Frozen 2 was 2019. Justice went out of business in 2020. So, I would say this was probably around 2014-2019. Big range but more accurate unless this house brought all the toys that weren't really selling anymore.
@@imperfectly_megan Amazon has been selling for years. They started delivering in 2005. And it's funny because my mom found an Amazon Package in her house and the date was so old and she was like "I didn't even know Amazon existed" I think it was social media promoting the brand which made it more popular. So, you seeing an Amazon box doesn't necessarily give more evidence of the time period 2018-2022.
2:59 the “mom I love you” written on the door. That made my heart hurt. That family left everything and quickly! There’s a story here. Wish we knew what these people experienced.
Who ever lived there was an addict. The bottles on the stand (8:12) were methadone bottles. I’m an LPN and work for a maintenance clinic and patients come in daily, weekly, and monthly for take home bottles once they’ve been sober long enough! The methadone helps to block/replace the receptors in the brain that “crave” opiates. Makes me think the parents or parent either overdosed or did something to get themselves locked up and the state was awarded the kids and they had no one to clean their belongings out. Unfortunately we see it often 😔
I am on the methadone clinic now and is very possible that the person that lived there died and the kids were taken away. But you can't just leave your bottles laying around like that you're supposed to bring them back to the clinic
I was thinking that to, so sad to see how the 3 girls was so spoiled with toys and lives in a childhood dream with toys. And the parents was probably addicts or something or if something happened and then they become depressed and addicted or something. So sad to see all the toys laying around so close and in same room as some pill bottles 😢
Feels like something dealing with drugs maybe drug abuse and abuse could be included. Such a sad feeling here. They had everything but having everything isn't always everything.
I saw that on another video taken in my hometown of Baltimore. Everything was left in the rowhouse - furniture, clothing, even a family photo album sitting open on the coffee table. It's like they all left the house one day and never returned.
So sad. Really wish they could come back a get some of there belongings. So many memories. They deserve their photos back and other items. I hate seeing such a nice home not being lived in.
19:38 Actually, according to the LOL doll house at 10:54 , this house abandonment is recent. Maximum is 4 years ago. That doll house released in August of 2020. With this information and the Christmas trees we see in that same shot, I am guessing that whatever happened that made the family abandon it, happened in or shortly after Christmas of 2020.
I feel like the parents were arrested and the kids were taken away. There is another abandoned home like this and that has the same story. All the kids stuff left behind including photos.
I hope this places address to their home doesn’t get out and their belongings stolen. 😢 Thank you for sharing this interesting place and I hope you are like other abandoned explorers and as they say they don’t take anything they only take pictures and leave footprints behind. They are respectful of the places they come across and only share locations with others they know will be as respectful as well.❤ New friend by the way from southeast Kentucky and I love abandoned finds like this. ❤ much of the toys reminds me of things my daughter had as a youngster in the early to mid 2000’s. Especially the Nintendo DS and games
It would be cool if the things that are salvageable could be cleaned up and donated, especially since it doesn't seem to be any signs of the family coming back. So much stuff packed up in that house it's sad to see it all go to waste.
I wonder if the family knows all their stuff is still there after all thise years.. Would be interesting to get in contact with them and let them know and maybe see if they're willing to share why everything was left behind. The poor turtles 😢
I think they were hoarders or something because that was WAY too much stuff, but then again, they seemed to have a few kids. Either way, it's all weird.
@kimberlybrewerrowe8007 I understand videos of 30 years ago but this one seems very recent. Probably someone's life the needed to leave right away. I've seen people say maybe one or both parents arrested for drugs or similar illegal activities. That makes sense. Either way, this is way to recent to be "abandoned". I'm sure there are legal reasons nobody had gone back there.
You back and ask neighbours what happened? It’s also clear they’ve only abandoned it in recent years. Shame there’s probably no legal why to ask the law to take those toys and give to needy children and give the kids back their photos and personally belongings without admitting you were inside the property. Such a waste to see it just rot away.
Yep. Either one or both of the parents had a real shopping and hoarding issue. I'm guessing it was mostly the mom because of Bath & Body Works and the girly pink stuff. Some kind of emergency situation must have happened.
YEA! IKR! I AGREE ALSO. I TRULY HATE COMING ACROSS THESE VIDEOS, WATCHING THEM, & THEN WONDERING WHAT ***THE STORY IS. :/ IT AGGRAVATES ME WHEN PEOPLE MAKE THESE VIDEOS & PUT EM' ON HERE FOR PEOPLE TO WATCH & TELLING THE STORY BEHIND *IT ALL*!!! >.
I wish we knew the story. If the family is doing well now. Why did they never go back to at least get their family photos, the kids favorite toys and some of their clothes. Luckily the house is in good shape. No broken windows, no mold or collapsed ceilings or roofs. Pretty much a lot of toys and things are in good condition. To you guys that explored this video. Great job, but can you talk to neighbors, look for anything dated like mail or calendar and try and figure out most recent date and go to look in local library and search newspapers and other things. Go to the local police and fire station and historical society if they have one. Dig deep and than do an update video.
I went to Centrailia, PA like 18 yrs ago. The homes were still standing and the abandoned childrens toys were heartbreaking. None of the homes are there any more. The roads are splitting from all the heat rising from the underground fires burning. It was a surreal sight to see. I felt like i was legit in Silent Hill.
Lol “90s or 2000s” majority of that stuff is newer age. Lalaloopsy.. funkopops.. shopkins.. and sooo much more. You definitely weren’t around in the 90s/00s if you think this is 90s/00s lol

I totally doubt it. It's something far worse. From what I'm looking at, I doubt they had ANYTHING to survive off of. It shows NO signs of anything being packed up, not even a tiny box of stuff.
@@largol33t12 I see the opposite. Dresser drawers are pulled out.Stuff was definitely dug through. Everything left behind is not stuff. You need to survive. Could of possibly packed a bag of clothes, Rifaled through for a few nicknacks. And left in a hurry.
That's what I was thinking. They left in a hurry and then it was dug through. Drawers and cabinets open, everything everywhere. Was this family ever found? So many questions.
So much sad, uncalled for judgment in the comment section. You don't know who these people were, you don't know if they're okay or were okay, you don't know what they're lives were like. Just because people have a lot of nice stuff doesn't mean that everything is fine. It's stuff. Humans lived there. They have a story we don't know. Have compassion and respect or at least the kindness to say "I'm not perfect. I can't judge what I don't know and I didn't know this family who left everything behind." 🙁
Right? I saw a comment where someone called the kids "spoiled" because of all the toys they had. People really need to keep to themselves, who cares if the kids were "spoiled" they aren't yours. Watch the video for what it is. An exploration video, and nothing more. So judgmental for no reason.
@@LeannMyway I feel for pets too. That was very disturbing, I couldn't even watch but it's not as though they valued anything else above the pet. They didn't even take family photographs; pictures of their baby girls. Clothes or objects worth money...something happened. They either fled or went out and did not return.
That's what I was thinking. But then I looked in the description box and he said that he found the father's profile and the family are all well. I still feel like something is wrong. That feeling he keeps getting is because there are spirits there.
Hmmm maybe what happened was parents went to jail.. kids got taken away for some time and in the mean time the bank took over the home so they legally cant go back.. maybe parents are clean and have their kids back and live else where.. i sure hope!
@@Bluemoon2000xBy looking at the condition of the home, it looks like there is a lot of hidden mold. I suspected it from the beginning of the video but then when he mentioned a water leak in the game room I’m 99.9% sure. Im in a mold group on facebook and people who get sick from mold tend to leave everything behind just like this. Some people are so sensitive they take nothing, they cant even keep their driver’s license or other cards sometimes so everything has to be replaced.
overkill on spoiling the kids, lets be real, those bottles on the dresser, all the empty white bottles are methadone..Very sad and i hope all is well now.
Maybe there have been some homeless people squatting here if they found out it was empty. Maybe that’s why it’s so messy. Maybe someone with kids or maybe they were going through things in there
I'm sure they probably had to leave in a hurry sadly. All those bottles you showed were Methadone dose bottles so somebody was in recovery. Hope everything is ok.
Sad, it’s like you can feel the sadness in the first bedroom, master bedroom/ parents room. There are pictures of the 3 girls and some of a boy younger than the girls, he looks to be a toddler. But there isn’t any signs of a little boy ever living there others then very few trucks and the little match box cars in the safe which is in the kitchen.
My Cousin works for the govt. when a home goes in to some type of probate due to a death of the owner or owners, everything in the home must stay put until the Court finalizes everything. My Cousin had to go in to the homes every few weeks to take pictures, and document. Some of the homes were left in the Court system for years. I went with him to document a home, I opened a drawer out of curiosity. He told me not to touch anything, we were only there to photograph.
Were they hoarders? Also, I find really upsetting that they had to leave all their belongings behind, including their family photos. It's really sad. Even left the pet turtles behind...
Was this family killed, in hiding, and had to leave and unable to take everything with them? Something bad had to happen. Or was the house in foreclosure to where they were kicked out by cops only allowed to grab what they could grab. 🤔 😢
I know that you said as of July 2023 the family was doing fine. But there's still something that isn't right. Are you sure this family wasn't in a fatal car crash on their way to Disney World some years back? Could be 7 years, could be 10. I hope this is not the case. But I also believe that when you 1st said you felt like a TV just turned on and a few other times throughout the house you were feeling the presence of spirits. Maybe from the early 1900's or maybe more recent. You should really research it if you are the new owner. Good luck and I hope to see updates.😊
Could be a guess for sure! But I think the house was abandoned way after 1990s and more like 2020, also there were methadone bottles in the house which points to it possibly being drug related. Also souls go to heaven or hell not earth. 😊
The lps collection is so cool! But i do really hope this family is doing okay. I hope they are doing well but i dont really think they are ok. I mean, what would be the reason to leave everything behind. Also telling by all the drinks on the side of the bed with "koolaid" marks on it isnt a great sign:(
this is crazy. i can’t imagine leaving all of those things behind. especially clothes. so many clothes. they literally up and left one day. it’s so sad. i hope they found peace and a better life afterwards. how long has this house been abandoned for??? the house is in great condition. i see some toys and things that i recognize. i’m thinking that the oldest daughter was born in the early or mid 2000’s, because i saw 2 littlest pet shop playsets which were from like, 2006 or 2007. and the youngest daughter was probably born in the late 2000’s or very early 2010’s. i saw a doc mcstuffins toy, a g4 my little pony (shining armor), beanie boos, build a bears from the 2010’s, diary of a wimpy kid books, the wii stuff. i grew up with A LOT of those things as well, and i was born in 2002. i still have most of my childhood toys. it’s sad to see some of these LOVED toys just sitting there. they didn’t have time to take them all with them. also, they had 2 wii consoles in that bedroom for some reason lol. i wonder how old these girls were when they left??
When I was younger, this was about 34-35 years ago, there was a house like this on the street behind mine. All the kids in the neighborhood thought it was haunted. No idea why we thought that, but we did. The house had been abandoned for, what felt like, a hundred years. As an adult, thinking about it, it was probably only a year. Anyhow, we (like 6 of us from my street) got up the courage one day to sneak into the house to see if there really were ghosts. I remember seeing dishes still in the sink and in the dishwasher, so many toys and clothes, everything scattered about it. Wasn't as full as this, but still had everything in it. Someone saw us sneak in (we were like 6-7, wouldn't consider us the greatest sneakers) and called the cops. The cops came and took us all back to our houses. This is when my dad told me what had happened, sort of. He said that the mommy and daddy died in an accident and the kids are waiting to get their stuff back one day when they are ready, so we shouldn't disturb their stuff so that when they are no as sad anymore they can come back and it's still there. It really hurt me. Not in the way it would have if I had heard about it as an adult, but because for a long time, I was scared my mom and dad would die, too. I am guessing if we had never snuck in, I never would have been told what happened.
@@grayx1999 I don't. I know that eventually, a new family moved into the house. But, we pretty much stayed away from the house after that. I don't ever recall seeing anyone moving stuff out or visiting the house before the new family moved into it. This was in Magna, Utah.

I watched several other Urban exploring channels one of my favorite is exploring with Josh.
not going to say this is what it is, but.... My mom and my family did this MANY times in our life. It was always domestic violence and running away. It could have been what happened. We even left our turtle just like that. We would all get one trash bag each and leave everything else. It happened like this all of the time and is more common then you think.

2:59 the “mom I love you” written on the door. That made my heart hurt. That family left everything and quickly! There’s a story here. Wish we knew what these people experienced.
Please ask about their memories, no way why left the toys behind? Could you link the father please
@@mtv542 They are just toys. Who cares.
There’s so much more to this story. Don’t leave us hanging
Yup I had a family member who was and I was thinking the exact same thing.
Methadone is also used to block pain receptors so many people in severe pain are on it , not just addicts
I'm on methadone, I get monthly take homes. Those are definitely methadone bottles
Feels like something dealing with drugs maybe drug abuse and abuse could be included. Such a sad feeling here. They had everything but having everything isn't always everything.

Such a waste to see it just rot away.
the toys are the children's property too.....
There are enough toys in that house for 100 kids!

Yep. Either one or both of the parents had a real shopping and hoarding issue. I'm guessing it was mostly the mom because of Bath & Body Works and the girly pink stuff. Some kind of emergency situation must have happened.

I know that you said as of July 2023 the family was doing fine. But there's still something that isn't right. Are you sure this family wasn't in a fatal car crash on their way to Disney World some years back? Could be 7 years, could be 10. I hope this is not the case.

THC pens are relatively new, not around in the 90s, plus a lot of other items Amazon, some of the toys, detergent labels are newer. This was probably abandoned 2019/2020 or a few years ago
The mom focused & overloaded on materialistic items & forgot to spoil them with a nice clean space that's clutter free to live in!
Lol what?!
You sound jealous that all your kids have is clean clutter fee space. Are you a beige mom by any chance? Lol
You’re absolutely right! Spoiled the kids with cheap azzzzz Walmart shizzzz! House looks a mess with nothing but cheap azzz crap. Provide kids with a clean home and meals more appropriate
@@julianakleijn9254 When I was little I had just as many toys in a house about the same size. It wasn't cluttered because we had a big shelf with containers for the toys instead of sprawling them everywhere
@user-nj9rf6zm2x ....... Exactly!!!
I wonder if all was left because it was discovered that the house has an extreme toxic mold problem or radon.
No that wouldn’t make sense why they left their animals to die. Animal cruelty
@@Ella_Karina actually radon would still make sense. Pets are even more suseptible to radon poisoning than humans are. And radon levels could increase in a day's time due to certain weather. They could've woken up to find all the pets dead & then found out why & just bailed. Because it takes an extreme amount of money to deal with something like that. And
The Littlest Pet Shop collection is awesome!😍 my daughter collects those too
I just do t understand how all this got left behind
There’s definitely a story behind this! Tragic one too. Sad. Ppl just don’t up and leave all they own without reason!
this house would’ve been abandoned after 2017, possibly 2018. there was a cars 3 DVD at the beginning of the video. that movie came out on DVD in november 2017 so it would’ve atleast been after that point that they left.
i was gonna point out the cars 3 blu-ray too.
and i did see comments say they saw an LOL dollhouse that was released in 2020, so they probably left around covid times then.
run of the mill household items
Abandoned explorers....thats awesome
this house was more like 2017-2019 not 90s to 2000s all the stuff was recent in that house. awesome video :)
It amazing the house hasn't been raided and anything valuable stolen.
