  • If you are eligible to become a U.S. citizen and you have a child under the age of 18, you should not wait. Getting your citizenship while your kid is underage gives them a tremendous benefit.

    Why would I need to file N 600 for my kid if I can straight apply for her US passport?

      ​@jimross2101 They can do that when they grow up or they can choose to tender their usa passport as means of verification, that can serv as well. Things have changed.
      Loan or government can accept passport.

    Greetings sir.
    Am adopted vhild from a single mother. Adoption completely final may 17 1978.
    Been deported 20 years ago.
    All my p
    rocedures were all legal. Been in custody over five years years .permanen tresidence. Entered into the country on visa to complete Adoption.
    She was naturalisation 4 year before my Adoption. Do I deprive citizenship through my mother? Am 57 aboard and she currently in nursing home in california.

    Hey Jim, very interesting! I have a question that pretty much know the answer, my father was a naturalized citizen, had most of his children in the US, came back to his mother country Panamá, got married to my mother and had me, he traveled back and forth but never took me there, I'm now 34 Y/O, I'm pretty sure I dont have the "rights" to inherit the citizenship or to make it any easier to get it, can you tell me if i'm wrong or not?
