Nicolette was every man's dream. Like Dick Clark, there is a lot of voice coming our of her petit frame. God love her. I've been listening to "Lotta Love" on repeat for days on end to get my mind off of 2021 and back to 1979 when I was a boy hearing this awesome song for the first time.
@@michaelwilliams5724 I just had Lotta Love in my head all day and I always remembered as a teenager - how beautiful she was. It’s good to look back and remember when life was simpler. Ditto my friend.
She seemed like a spectacular person. I was so happy to learn that she had a daughter. Just like Minnie Ripperton. Sad that the girls had to grow up without their mamas but their genes are continuing.
Very respectful how Dick Clark inquired about the musicians, and commented about how they were a part of the song she sang......he wanted each one to be introduced, very classy. I had an old inherited Nicolette album, the one where she's standing on the stairs.....I'm a heavy rock guy but always loved her voice.RIP Nicolette, gone too soon.

It still stings over 25 years later that this sweet soul and talented singer was taken from us at the young age of 45. Conga player Bobby LaKind who later joined the Doobie Brothers died of colon cancer on Christmas eve, 1992, age 47.
What a talent Nicolette was before we lost her so early in her career and life. Rest in peace Nicolette. You have done well and left us music to enjoy and remember the great times of the 70's.
Clark wasn’t just a dollars and cents bottom liner. He genuinely loved and respected musicians and that attitude came through loud and clear in his interviews.

Meet Her in the mid 80's I had no idea who she was. I was about 21 and going out with a girl who's step-father (Big Earl) drove the tour bus for a lot of Rock bands and She was in the kitchen at My girlfriend's house just hanging out talking to my girlfriend's Mom and we had a great conversation and Nicolette was asking me where I lived, what college I was going to etc. She was such a great down to earth person and so cool. I thought She was Aunt Nicolette..haaaaaa and it wasn't until later that night that My girlfriend filled me in on who she was and played her music on a cassette tape. She was hot looking too..haaaa
