Just from experience - I would absolutely recommend getting the "Advanced 4x4" option - as that gives you a 4WD Automatic Mode - which can activate itself in treacherous / slippery conditions. Just a thought.
Appreciate the honesty about the limitations of the Ford Bronco for families with small children. No one should pay over MSRP - wait on a better price.

This was the exact review I needed! I really wanted the big bronco but since it’s not available, and not safety reviewed yet, I went with the Bronco Sport. I think that the Bronco Sport is probably the better bet for our needs (2 yr old and 3 month old!) 😆 Maybe after my lease, I’ll upgrade to Big Bronco 🙌
First time watching. Well done review. I agree, I really like the color and I really think Ford did an amazing job with this new Bronco. I'll probably wait a couple years before considering buying, I'm not into paying premium on already expensive vehicles. I am a Ford Truck owner and I also REALLY love the remote access keypad.

Great family-focused review and especially your day-to-day parents w/kids focus. BTW, your words per minute are freaking impressive!!! Ford did a pretty damn good job w/this. The soft top is pretty sad in comparison w/Jeep and any/all convertibles, and I really wish they would put Nalgene size water bottle cupholders in these types of vehicles, but all in all, it's a winner. Toyota really missed the mark w/not continuing and expanding the FJ40 in a 2 and 4-door model. Hopefully, they will rethink as there are not many 2-4 door soft tops/doors off vehicles left.
You can absolutely pay MSRP for a new Bronco. At the beginning of the order process simply ask the dealer if they honor MSRP. If they don't, walk. If they do, sign a purchase agreement upfront. Dealers are not even allowed to buy these from Ford to sell until 2023. Chances are if the dealer in your area has one on the lot for sale they completely screwed over someone who had ordered one with hidden markups when they came to pick it up.

The rearview window is small. If you upgrade your tire size and put a bigger spare on the back, you have even smaller viewing. Jeep has a bigger window. Mirrors for the jeep are relatively inexpensive. Ours were $30. But they do make some that stay on with or without the doors. They run about $250.
Thank you for a VERY useful car review channel. The way you review the car provides very useful information about the interior size of the car for both adults and carseat fit. It helps too that you're the same height as me. One suggestion is to make to station the vehicle in a manner where the natural lighting helps to show the details inside the car a little bit better. Keep up the good work!
Believe it or not, on some models you can recline the seats. If you hold the handle to fold the seats down while sitting in it, you can push it back a little. Not much, but a little. 😁👍🏽
Are there air vents in the backseat? I didn’t see any. That was the biggest reason I traded my Wrangler when we had our first child. It gets hot in Georgia! Love the reviews!
I would like to see your evaluation/review of full size pickup trucks as well. They are sometimes used as a family vehicle and it is frankly something I have not focused on in past purchases.
My kids are high school age now, but I certainly don't remember car seats being so huge 10-15 years ago. They fit fine in a Cherokee, which is way smaller than the new Bronco. When did car seats get gigantic?
Have to wait many years to see how reliable they turn out to be. The softtop is kind of crappy as well. But, good vehicles (although way too many models and way over cost).

But having already had the discovery and the evoque and the amount of random issues especially with electrical I'm kinda really sick and tired. For example the back passenger side door lock sensors went on the disco along time ago and then again on the evoque. Got it fixed under warranty initially. Happened again to the evoque. Took it to a private garage. And they said yep water gets into the door area and that messes up the sensors. Opened up the door panel and showed me old water marks. Seems to me a freaking design flaw. Each time iv had a LR iv said to myself the next one will be better. The next one will treat me right and once the honeymoon periods over. I get damn issues. Almost like a bad relationship 😁😊 Might go Volvo for my next one. Oh well but the branco looks soo cool.
@@nasaspacemanwho6711 Land Rover cost to Reliability ratio is horrible, vehicles in this price range that most can't afford should be everyday reliable. Volvo not exactly stellar reliability either. The next gen Toyota Land Cruiser looks cool, capable and should have that Toyota reliability. I believe it will be available in the UK, unfortunately not in the U.S. If your chasing brand image but want reliability and don't off-road you can't beat Porsche no question imho.
Is there a certain infant seat you would recommend with this bronco? My SIL and BIL bought one a year or so ago and now they’re expecting their first baby. I’ve been trying to help them figure out how make a car seat work.
If you pull on the folding lever for the back seat they do recline maybe an inch or two. Not much but could help some. Edit: also, first time watching but quite enjoyed it. I’m putting two front facing car seats in the back so I was curious to see what you thought but fortunately past the rear facing and stroller phase. My wife already said she is going to steal mine and I’ll be stuck driving her Palisade. I think the kids (2 & 4) will enjoy climbing in and folding the soft top back. My favorite part was you review based on how you feel in the Starbucks drive though 😂

My wife and I have 5 kids so party of 7 here! We want to go electric with our next purchase. Please please please do a mom car review of the model Y and X. There has to be families in our situation who want to go electric but are unsure if these popular vehicles(used or new) could actually work in the real world for families!!!
We have six kids and I’ve also been looking into electrics large enough for our family. I’d say the Tesla Y will likely be too small, not enough head space in that third row from what I’ve seen with other reviews. You should also check out the Rivian R1S, it’s like an electric suburban and becomes available in Jan 2022, if they stay on schedule I will likely prefer it over the Tesla, and it’s the one I’m most excited about. Ford is going to make their transit van in an electric version too so that they may be an option, but I don’t think it’s going to have the range that’s available for Tesla and Rivian.
No need to worry about getting child seats installed. By the time you have it delivered, your kids will be married with their own kids!

The rear seats do recline back further, just pull up on the recline lever and push back.

They are under the front seats. I was worried about this, but rode in one and will say the seat acts as a nice funnel.

Chevy has added the keypad but it has to be ordered and is a extra $500 I believe. But I always go to Ford for that feature specifically
