The problem with the V12 is, that its cylinderwall is very thin, due to the cooling channels behind it, because of the heat it needs to get away. IF you put boost into that thin cylinder wall it will simply burst to the sides. IF you now put reinforcement into the cooling channels ot prevent it from bursting, you will not have enough heat transportet away so it will overheat everytime. The V10 engines have normal cooling holes drilled, so there cylinderwall is much thicker and can be pressurised a lot more.

Damon learning about car engineering and starts with the most complicated upgrades 🤣👌👍 gotta love his enthusiasm he was lost 2mins in to the conversation, Another belter lads 👌
Yes, it's a complete bolt-on kit, for a well built V10 , that bumps power to about 5% more than the SVJ. The Aventador V12 handles it's power by spreading it over more pistons, journals and main bearings. Same power per cylinder, but stronger V10 parts b/c it has to. If you rebuild the V12 similarly, you get much more than 20% power handling. B/c the forged pistons can take 125hp per piston/main journal. Custom Chevy forged pistons are not that much more than pre-made forged pistons. If you could go US domestic on the pistons, rods & bearings, made for it, then ultra race custom slugs, rods & crank lightening, along with a lighter clutch group, head/intake porting, displacement, anti-friction coating, E85 tuning and nitrous oxide would surpass that kit, comparatively. 1500hp NA & spray, reliably. With larger studs, grade 8 fasteners, copper head gaskets, etc. And better than DI, no carbon on valves, or the oil cleaning system that dumps it's bypass into the intake manifold. (V10) It can be done as a total project. The VF kit is 30-50K?, I think you can do this better.
