Nice. I've always told anyone who wants to listen, the ZR900 is an awesome all round bike. I own a 2019 red rim/frame model. The 99Nm of torque allows it to pull hard in any gear. The price is good for what you get. I have Givi TST4118 fixed panniers on my bike when touring. Remove pannier frame when not used. Mine has Nitron R3 suspension and YSS steering damper. Have rear seat cowl and pillion foot pegs removed. Tank size is fine for me as you can get 370km(230miles) on a tank of fuel, when highway cruising and around 250km when sport/track riding. Mine has 94.5mm Rizoma spy mirrors which work well and can be positioned as you like. My bike has done over 70,000km(sole owner) with no problems, with oil/filter changes every 5,000km. Bike is very easy to ride, handles like a dream and corners effortlessly. Odd things: Foot pegs are quite low and touch them down a lot. The bike is gear'd every low, which is super good for the road, but not so good for the track.
I have a '22 black and twilight blue Z900. 6 months ago I was going to trade it in on a naked gsxs1000. Instead I kept the Z9 and bought a new gsxs1000gt sport tourer with oem side cases. All in all the Z outpulls the gt, is smoother and less mechanical noises. The Z sits next to me in the foyer and will be with me till the lights go out. the gt is cool, but the Z takes the prize. Had an mt09 and the z is still my favorite. A truly excellent machine.
Ngl kinda wish I got this instead of my MT-07, price point and (I assume) insurance price for financed is probably similar. Had to buy a full system for the 07, and then a then for the full system. Beautiful bike, love the red rims. My main gripe with the 07 is the build quality. Rims already have small paint chips (they don't seem to have a clear coat) and the swingarm is notorious for losing paint around the welds and beginning to rust.
I hear you! The MT-07 is a great bike, but I totally get where you’re coming from with the build quality concerns. It sounds like you’ve had to invest quite a bit in upgrades, too. This bike definitely has some nice features out of the box, including those red rims, which I agree are a standout! Hopefully, it holds up better in the long run compared to what you've experienced with your MT-07. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
If you remove the paint the rust is already there. They let it rust and then paint them. They are cheap bikes we cant expect Premium quality on these. I have a 2023 Mt07 and Love it! But Im thinking about upgrading to the MT09 or maybe the z900 still trying to decide. :/
I have a2022 z900 even without 0 aerodynamics I hit 151 mph on a flat straightaway . The bike was rock solid and easy to control .
Nice review. Not a learner bike in my view. But a great second and final bike.

great video! super cool bike.. one thing though is this is a middleweight naked bike... hyper-nakeds run over 1000cc and are 180+ hp
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. You’re right-I double checked this bike is definitely in the middleweight category,
U really got soothing voice for a rider who generally shout like maniac while speaking anything....
