Early access game Soulash 2 has given me a good few hours fun and is very playable indeed. Hats off to the developer who is very approachable on discord too.
I never played the first game sadly. But I am happy with the game as it runs on any machine and I am away atm so this suits me fine. I can see the potential for mass armies and taking city's and even the world at some point. I can see how the sprites could add to it maybe in the future it might change or even become an option. @@CheekyChapGaming that's a common critic and on discord they said it was not a priority, not even on the roadmap for now. we are not used to games like this, so I don't think that's a good strategy
The game and idea is great. I have no idea why he went for the coin portraits instead of sprites. I really love to see the gear on my character, so any games with static sprites/portraits are a no go for me unfortunately
I get it and agree however not sure why he chose this route I assume to reduce the workload. But I agree it sucks. Thanks for taking the time to post on my channel. Have a great week my friend.
@@CheekyChapGaming On his roadmap post he said it's unlikely that he'll change it. I don't really understand since he could simply commission AI art, especially given the pixel art style
@@MegaTranquilla That is sad if he does not plan on changing it and he will suffer for being lazy or not putting his hand in his pocket. He will lose customers for sure.
It is a fun game, but I wish it still had sprites on the map, like the first game, instead of just having portraits.
