In this clip, Shawn Prez started off by asking Chingy about leaving DTP and how he got out of his contract, and Chingy explained that he spoke with DTP co-founder Jeff Dixon in Miami. Chingy stated that he was a “confused kid” who didn’t know how to deal with the music industry, which is why he wanted to know why a lawyer was saying that they were stealing from him. Chingy added that Jeff asked what he wanted to fix the situation, and he stated that he didn’t know what to say.

Shawn does this often when something involves someone he knows.Just because you experience someone one way doesnt mean another person has that same experience, especially when there is money involved. Stop feeling the need to defend everybody when you dont know the situation.
Why did Chaka get so butt hurt about Chingy relaying what his lawyer was inquiring? All Chaka had to do was to show a summary of the contract and then show how the actuals flowed to Chingy.
I thought Chingy was a top tier rapper after that "We got" verse from Chicken & Beer lol

Retired artist have so much value, they have seen so much. There has to be a way for them to monetize this experience better.
Just because they are yiur Frat brothers in NO WAY makes them men of integrity especially when it comes to Money.
Being an artist is really like how can we manipulate this person making him feel comfortable with his trust using our kind words so we can make as much off him smh 😂

Much love to Chingy & Luda, glad there on good terms. But let me say this in general. I Hate how artist will complain about getting ripped off by the record label their signed to, but will start their own label, and do the same thing with the artists THEY sign. I’m very much aware the LABEL will always last longer than the ARTIST, but it’s FUCKED UP how people who been screwed over will do the same thing to the next. The business shady as fuck

Always Audit if you think your missing money your owed
Sounds like you this day he doesn’t know if they actually stole from him or not. He even sounds like he may be siding with DTP over the lawyer now.
