In this clip, Chingy spoke about working with R. Kelly on “Leave Wit Me,” off of his “Powerballin’” album, and he shared a story about how he randomly ran into Kelly at the mall while speaking about wanting to get Kelly on the song. While speaking about the allegations against R. Kelly, Chingy admitted that he didn’t want to delve too deep, but he added that he’s only seen Kelly be respectful to women around him. Chingy then added that he’s witnessed Kelly’s people checking IDs of women to make sure they were adults. Speaking more about Kelly, Chingy spoke about doing “Baller Baby” with Lil Flip when he had beef with T.I., and Chingy added that he got Janet Jackson on “Don’t Worry.”

Respect for Chingy keeping it real on R. Kelly, and I’ve actually also heard about R. Kelly checking IDs..I’m glad he didn’t act like he never met R. Kelly like most did
I have to say I’ve been pleasantly surprised how much I’ve enjoyed this interview. He seems like a great guy and very humble. He is also a great story teller.
