That what makes him the hero whom Gotham deserves.

One thing I’ve learned from RUclips when it comes to this movie, everyone who watches it for the first time loves it. They aren’t jaded by the critics or RT. They didn’t allow their Marvel bias to not let them enjoy something different. People just sit back and watch this epic movie in all its glory and usually most reactors have loved it. I’ve always said that years from now, this film will be loved by most and will be a cult classic. The legs on this film is just outstanding.
I will always ALWAYS fight for this movie for the masterpiece that it is! It’s been 5 years since it’s release and people are starting to realize it’s genius...10 years on and it will be looked on with reverence for its thematic elements and willingness to elevate the genre.

That Nightmare scene means that it's about to happen because Darkseid is coming for something that he wants from Earth. Now Darkseid is basically DC'S version of Thanos.
7:24 The Dream Sequence is known by many as the Knightmare Sequence. In the Knightmare sequence, Darkseid has conquered Earth after the League's failure to stop him on Apokolips. Darkseid took advantage of the league's failure to bend Earth to its knees. Later, he boom tubes into the batcave where he slaughters Lois and her unborn Child (Yes, Lois was pregnant at that time). Supes became enraged and Darkseid use the opportunity to make supes his right-hand man. I got some Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice 2 vibes after hearing Zack explain this at a panel. Bats, Cyborg and the Flash lead a rebellion against Darkseid and Evil Superman since they are the only members of the League alive since Wonder Woman, Aquaman and many others were slaughtered on the League's mission to Apokolips. Bats gets killed by supes whilst Flash uses a cosmic treadmill to travel back in time to warn Bruce/Bats of the Impending failure of the Apokolips mission and the creation of Knightmare Earth. However, he travelled back way too soon so Bruce has literally no Idea of what was about to happen then. Flash would then travel to when the League was about to head to Apokolips. He manages to warn them but in doing so, the time barrier rips the flash apart. The League would then reconsider heading to Apokolips to battle Darkseid and instead, wait for him to make the first move. It is then at that moment when Darkseid arrives, the Largest and most badass battle in the History of the Universe begins on Earth. Amazons, Atlanteans, the Armies of Mankind and the Justice League against Darkseid and his army of parademons. Furious about his plans being thwarted, Darkseid attempts the same tactic he used in the previous timeline: Boom tubing into the batcave to kill Lois. Bats however, was prepared. So he manages to kill Darkseid but in the process sacrifices himself to save Earth. The Apokoliptian army retreats with Darkseid dead. Bats has a funeral and Superman names his child: Jonathan Bruce Kent. He named his child after both his Father and Batman to honor their Legacy. #RestoretheSnyderverse
Even after all the comments in Man of Steel video about Extended Cut, she didn't do it? So much better. This version misses 30 minutes of important footage.
To be fair, Kryptonite probably seemed out of left field to him. He hasn't encountered anything earthly that could harm him, so why do any extra preparation?
The way Lex shines the spotlight on Superman through politics is definitely amazing. The build up on their beef is dope, because you can see how Lois Lane piecing everything together and both Batman & Superman catching all the fog about one another it's just amazing. This is Batman v Superman movie, so Diana Prince being involved in it so little isn't a bad thing, because Zack Snyder is world building here so the complaints about that are quite ridiculous. Especially when you consider that her solo movie was up next! This is a really good movie.
now I am going to name you the characters that appear in the videos that Diana and Bruce see. 1_ Barry Allen (Flash) the fastest character in DC whose origin is that when he was a child a yellow blur murdered his mother and his father was accused, then he was struck by lightning and more chemicals that had his laboratory gave him the ability of running fast in addition to his best known ability which is traveling in time 2-Arthur Curry (Aquaman) son of an Atlantean and a human, who is considered a mestizo who has the duty to become the king of Atlantis. For years he was the most ignored character for his appearance and his ability to talk to fish but Jason Momoa's performance in Justice League changed everyone's perspective. 3- Victor Stone (Cyborg) originally being a member of the Teen Titans suffered an accident that left him on the brink of death but thanks to his father he survived turning him part human part Cyborg

Even when people were hating on these movies i always loved them pre release the Snyder cut era. When I walked out of the theatre when Batman V Superman came out people hated it but i clapped when the movie ended cause i liked it so much. He is a great film maker.
This film had so much potential if they just built the universe around it a little more before making this movie, they just rushed the entire DCEU to try and keep up with marvel, they should have taken their time and fleshed out the characters and storylines. Anyways I still enjoy Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman, and of course Jeremy Irons is just a pro.
1000 percent agree. They undercut the impact of Superman dying by not having at least one more film showing supes being awesome for another film. Also could have then done a “world without a Superman” film
I never understood why the dceu was trying to rush everything. The audience wasn't going anywhere. Unless you make a bunch of lousy movies because you were rushing everything.
I appreciate hearing from someone who gets that. They rushed the for payoff through their impatience instead of building to it. Because of that I liked the theatrical Justice League more than this. I haven't seen the Snyder Cut yet. I won't have access until it is available on disc.
Just for context 1. Superman gets power from the sun 2. The monster is called Doomsday 3. Doomsday power is adaptation and immortality (can revive after ANY death) 4. Wonderwoman is the daughter of Zeus 5. Superman can be hurt by kryptonite, magic, sound, gravity, nukes, red sun light and people with krytonian levels of strength 6. Superman powers includes - Super Strength (can push planets) - Super Speed (faster than light) - Super Senses - Heat Vision - Freeze Breath - Regeneration - Invulnerability - X-ray Vision (can't see through lead) - Flight

Glad to know you liked the movie this much!! I wonder what would have happened if you had watched the Ultimate Edition instead. But yes, this movie has aged so well that most people watching it now for the first time or revisiting it end up liking it.
Screw the critics, this movie is VERY well done. If you wanted to get these two to fight then Lex nailed it. He manipulated them directly into each other’s path.
This reaction goes to show that having no preconceived notions and a general positive attitude can make almost any film enjoyable. I hated this movie, but had fun watching it through your perspective. Thanks Mary!
Great reaction, I really loved this movie a lot, I was all Batman, For Me Ben Affleck is the perfect Batman and perfect Bruce Wayne, he plays Batman as a veteran hero who has been through decades of fighting and lost a lot of people and lost hope in humanity, and I loved the “Why’d you say that name” Martha scene because up to that point Bruce was seeing Superman (The Alien who he thinks is just that a All for himself Alien) and when Superman said Martha and Lois said it was his mother Bruce saw Clark(the human who’s dying words were about saving his mother) also when Bruce tells Clark Martha won’t die tonight, it is Bruce telling himself he couldn’t save his own mother but he will save Clark’s
Excellent points. I also think of Sarah Connor almost killing Miles Dyson in T2. Bruce had a similar character arc here. When Sarah saw Miles' family she couldn't go through with it. She saw him as a human and not as a symbol of humanity's potential destruction.
Notice how when people watch MoS/BvS with open eyes and lacking knowledge of the public perception and opinions, they tend to enjoy and understand these movies, rather than people who *do* know the public opinions and hate on these movies simply because that’s what’s popular.
Watch the SnyderCut first! Don't worry about the other movies. You already saw Wonder Woman (2017) which is the only one that matters. The SnyderCut was supposed to release in 2017 so you can watch Aquaman after the SnyderCut
You should watch the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition in your own time. Its the director's cut from Zack Snyder. There's an entire plot line that was cut. It brings the film to 3 hours long.

18:58 Mary you clearly don't know Batman or judging him by the DCEU who is really dark. You have seen The Dark Knight Trilogy . There it was explored what Batman really is. He isn't someone whom people put their hope on because he is not a hero. He is a silent guardian , a watchful protector . He is vengeance , he is the dark knight. I have a lot of respect for the good old superman. He is wonderful. But Batman is someone who was built by trauma and he still chose the good over evil. That what makes him the hero whom Gotham deserves.

2-Arthur Curry (Aquaman) son of an Atlantean and a human, who is considered a mestizo who has the duty to become the king of Atlantis.

3. Doomsday power is adaptation and immortality (can revive after ANY death)
4. Wonderwoman is the daughter of Zeus
5. Superman can be hurt by kryptonite, magic, sound, gravity, nukes, red sun light and people with krytonian levels of strength
6. Superman powers includes

- Super Speed (faster than light)
- Super Senses
- Heat Vision
- Freeze Breath
- Regeneration
- Invulnerability
- X-ray Vision (can't see through lead)

Ben Affleck was amazing as Batman, in my eyes. He nailed The Dark Knight's musculature and attitude.
