I have been waiting for actual aeons for the lockpicking to get some kind of update. when you play with as many mods as I do eventually you'll get 1 or 2 that add really valuable loot in chests and that mod gets the "score" of the items in a chest and makes an "appropriate" difficulty lock for it.

The lock mod should make it so if someone fails the lockpicking the owner of the chest gets a message
