As an African woman who was raised seeing struggle love, single mothers and then married to a diagnosed narcissist, I had no chance. I was a masculine, competitive albeit extremely successful woman who could out do myself and most men. When my most recent relationship failed, I realised something had to give. I had been conned to do it all! Thankfully I dress extremely well and feminine and have repeatedly reinvented myself so this time I am being a soft woman. I am lucky I can get the men easily so now to find a husband. Recently I went to a work event and left early and didn't drink to match my male colleagues which used to be standard procedure and is in banking. Baby steps but I got this.
