I love the idea of completing a tier 5 POI before the horde starts. That's extra pressure to get it done quickly. But the fact that you're also going for stealth means you can't go TOO fast. Very nice. It made for a tense one-off episode.
I think i like the idea of an occassional single episode stealth mission, particularly for these larger POIs.
But i also like the build up in series to them, where you have to scrounge a little for supplies to tackle it :)
A series of stealth missions through unexplored POIs sounds good to me.
Stealth in this game is kind of busted with all of the trigger rooms dropping zombies behind you or not spawning in until you cross an imaginary line.
To make stealth work probably, they have to increase the trigger range to 3x the normal amount, and all zombies within 2x-3x your range will start wandering clueless to make clearing triggers less annoying for stealth builds.
that why you dont follow the path THEY want you to.
@@krogerman83a I do that a bit but I end up having to run around a T6 infest for half a day trying to find the one zombie I failed to get to drop from a ceiling or bust out of a wall.
I had this happened where I needed to open a door to get I to the build to get to the roof but I just build up to it and went from above and there was 1 zombie. Once I got done clearing the loot and killed the zombie I went outside and just clicked the button to open it and 3 zombies just appeared out of thin air in the cabin.
I just wish it worked like the Ghillie Suit in the Viva La Dirt League PUBG sketch.
You missed the large locked chest in the loot room. All that work for a few magazines?!?

The problem with relying on night vision, those chests do kinda blend into the background as opposed to the crates.

OK, one of the most hilarious moments at 15:28 "Handled like a pro" just as you got swatted in the back of the head! Yes, he did handle you like a pro. You can't make those moments happen.

Came for the nail-biting tension, stayed for Glock slowly devolving into paranoid wall-slapping for fake closets
I did an Infested mission at this POI and for some reason at about 75% through a Screamer for some reason showed up. I wasn't using firearms like crazy, so there shouldn't have been a heat trigger.
One mistake I made was I got lost, because the POV was updated and I didn't see the rope leading to the next section. It wasn't clearly visible in the room zombie broken out from a fake wall, so I was running around until night trying to find the last group of zombies with no clue what direction to look.
Anyways I spent all night taking down 2 Screamers and horde of zombies. I ran out of ammo and had to use the ammo from the treasure to survive. It was giving me radiated zombies, which was the first time they appeared on this run.
Dang pretty rough hope you made it out with the loot at least
I literally had same experience. Tier 6 infested. Got lost. Screamers and out side zombies coming in. More than 24 hour day to clear.
POV...was that POI auto corrected? The AI probably thought you were talking about some kind of nasty porn, talking about screamers and infested shit 😂

as someone who plays a stealth archer whenever possible on every game i can, i hope you make the stealth thing a series
I find it hilarious how different our experiences with this poi was. You got all the gear you need while I accidentally forgot almost everything I needed to actually survive. Didn't bring bandages, food, or water, and I didn't have nearly enough ammo. Spent about half the time running away while slashing with my machete. Had to get my brother to drive over to get me a refill. It was rough. Though it was fun, the challenge of trying to run for my life while not prepared in the slightest.
Love how Glock is just desensitized to the ambience of the wasteland. It shook me the first time I heard it and it still does

I love the ambient sounds. I guess we hear them better because Glock is being sneaky and quiet.
It's pretty much impossible to do a total stealth run in high level POIs. Most of them have trigger points that will wake up zombies no matter what, so at some point you are just going to have to go loud.
I hate that in non-stealth games. Devs create an entire skill tree for stealth but then they blow it up with maps that voids all your investment.
And it's for times like that I keep a silenced SMG on hand to clean up any chaos that sort of BS causes (because the devs love using those trigger plates)
You should do another playthrough with a stealth build

My favorite one is the receipt for a donut.

Glock, you missed majority of the main stash 😆 You only got the boxes, not the cache or armored safe.
I did a trader tier 6 infested there. It was terrible. It went well past 24 hour day to complete. It was absolute madness.
took me 2 in game daze to finish it without dieing.
I've gone through this POI many times - I do the mansion as stealth, but at the end I just start shooting XD
I tried this POI as a Tier 5 quest on my channel and failed miserably. Lol! Cool to see a pro like Glock9 get through it and show me how it's done! 😂
I think maybe having a clear quest for the POI chosen would be cool so we can see that all of the zombies have been killed
i would've roleplayed a military stealth agent that is going in alone to uncover said secrets about the residence, and took hunting knife over spear, and a silenced sniper over hunting rifle
dunno if you know, but the silencer works better on guns that have a smaller mag size, so the hunting rifle is the most "silenced" weapon in the game

@@Carpfoon thats fair, it would definitely alos allow for a better chance at survival, but in the same line, i mean a silenced DV would be applicable as a service weapon, and also aggreed on the hunting knife, doesnt have the reach of the spear, but its got the speed

A big part of why silencers feel like they don’t work is the bullet’s noise. If you shoot through a zombie’s head and the bullet hits metal or stone behind the zombie, it still makes a ton of noise.
the gun makes noise whether suppressed or not.

just filing this in there, the game specifically says that the silencer also works better with slower rate of fire guns, so a single shot single bullet mag works best with the silencer, even then yeah, hitting surfaces causes more noise, but a lot of people will slap a silencer on the ak or ar, and then not understand why its still loud.
Hell yeah! I am down for some more Glock Team 9! Stealth all the really tough POIs.

Stealth is fun, but it can get frustrating when the zombies auto trigger no matter how stealthy you are. And of course, leaving zombies behind you can cause problems. anyway, fun episode I'd definitely watch more of these.

You missed the main loot chest. :p Myself, I would have started with a silenced pistol and maybe a silences SMG as well as the crossbow and compound bow. That M60 was a key find though.
Man i want to play so dam bad last 2 times i tried no clouds in the sky can't see a dam thing outside even from 7am -11am then get bright out go inside any poi can't see again. Yea yea i know they trying to make the light more life like but really would love to just turn it off. Know about weather commands they help a little anyone know of one to turn off the dynamic lighting junk?
Would also love to see you pull up like that to a lvl 5 POI naked on like day 50 and try to loot and craft your way through, maybe not on nightmare all the way around though
Total GIGACHAD, went through T5 +2 POI and didn't even take main stash. More of this stealth!
P.S. Try not to panic when you wake up zombies and just crouch your way from last position you were in a dark room, they will probably not see you. There is a bit more functionality of stealth rather than just killing sleeper zombies.

Series idea: Glocky Balboa. Fists only, low intelligence (XP), horde every night but it's just one really strong zombie, only eats raw eggs.

Great video…I enjoy watching you discover a new POI for the first time…That m60 was a life saver!!
Just goes to show you can't do full stealth, even with all the perks. There are triggers that wake zombies up not to mention high level zombies have lower wake up thresholds so killing a zombie near enough to them wakes them up. I'm not sure but it seems like there is some kind of chain reaction wake up mechanic. Perhaps a zombie waking up breaks something and that noise wakes others up. I've wondered though if even them grunting when they wake up is a trigger for nearby zombies.

I really like this idea. It was kinda hard at first with the night visor but it got better as jt went on
I tend to go silenced mp5 as my backup. Along with some Molotov's(As they are silent.)

I loved the episode! Great filler in-between seasons. It almost gave me hope for stealth builds to work in 7D2D. Unfortunately, brute force and noise are still strong parts of lots of POIs... Sigh...

I'd like to suggest a series that is the opposite of this one almost. Loud and Proud - Clear a 7 skull Poi while endless screamers spawn. Could have multiple forges or campfires going to constantly spawn screamers. Can't leave Poi (Could set a quest to ensure you don't) And have to use guns or anything that generates heat.

If you want an idea for another one, I came across a POI than I haven't seen for a long time which I almost didn't recognize it but its been around since A16 I think. Two Bit Tower. I've never seen you go through it, but once you see it I'm sure you'll recognize it. Stay breathin'. ~J~

I think you should just start a series with this episode. Rambling man style - no base. Just you and what you have, starting at the front of a POI at 6am. Keep the stuff from the last episode (weapons/ammo/meds/food), do trader runs to buy meds/food/drink/ammo off camera, and just keep it going. See how long you can last!

They should’ve put Dr. Karen herself as a boss in this POI. Kind of like Grace. Perfectly missed opportunity TFP could’ve done.
How about a 7 day series, leading up to day 7000 horde, but you have to collect the weapons/ammo and use a POI base. Maybe start with 10000G or 15000G and a lower level melee weapon?
I like the idea of a stealth episode, but the NVGs makes it hard for me to see and make out the POI. I get it's for the esthetics of stealth, but I feel you could do without them
Great video, i always liked stealth approaches, but stealth died imho when they introduced all the triggered zombies behind locked doors etc. Try the Shotgun Messiah Plant next :)
Few things more hilarious in 7D2D than finding a M60 or a rocket launcher inside one of those little bitty wall safes. Turns out that thing was your MVG by the end of this vid.
Friend of mine found a sniper rifle in a freezer inside the grocery store that has the huge crater in the middle of it. Dunno how that would happen even here in our US of A, but hilarious nonetheless.
I play on the Xbox edition so if you know how bad that is. But this is exactly how I would play if we Xbox players had all of that good stuff, this is by far my favorite video you have made, besides that your Farmer Glock is my favorite too

I know this is completely random and has nothing to do with the video, but today I learned that it's not that difficult to get the "Press 'E' to drink" from bodies of water... You just have to stand close to it and keep looking at it until it pops up rather than finding the perfect angle... Hope you see this and it helps!
I feel certain you have been through there before, I came across Karen's and spent a horde on top of the cylinders on the right as you go into the loot room (it wasn't night 7000 though). It was a good episode. How about the big hospital in diresville 🤔
