I totally agree. I eat only twice a day. But i make sure i am eating a nutritious diet and their is a variety of colors on my plate. I have a lil carbs in the form of rice(1 small katori), fruit or fruits, one amla everyday! Lots of veggies and daal and curd, 2 boiled eggs once or twice a week or two pieces of steamed fish once or twice a week. My last (2nd )meal is by 5pm-6pm after which i dont eat or drink anything other than water until 10 30-11 the next day. I dont eat anything in between these two meals. Dr. Shang Joshi's insights on the rise of heart disease post-pandemic are eye-opening. It's concerning to see the increase in heart attacks among young people, potentially linked to COVID-19¹². The discussion on intermittent fasting and fad diets was also enlightening-it's a reminder to approach these trends with caution. The emphasis on the importance of physical activity and avoiding sedentary lifestyles is crucial for our overall health. Great conversation
Intermittent fasting, more generally,Time Restricted Eating is a good thing. There is no cause and effect relationship between IF and heart attacks. Most people who face adverse outcomes are those either already having a heart condition or on glucose lowering meds. These individuals should adjust their meds before starting IF But there are tons of studies that show why healthy individuals can lose weight on IF. We eat far more than we need and IF is a way to control how much we eat. Weight loss will happen and one will lose lean mass too along with fat . So adequate protein intake from good sources(eggs, dairy) is very important to preserve muscle mass

Good general info, but I think he is biased about intermittent fasting. It is one of the best ways to reduce weight , and coupled with a low carb diet, it helps reverse diabetes.
Dr sir does not seem to have invested any time or mind to intermittent fasting. The AHA announcement of the Chinese survey lacks any credibility and was condemned by eminent personalities in the field.
Clearly the doctor is not an expert on nutrition. He keeps talking about evidence based nutrition, but doesn't back it up (the host didn't push for evidence to be honest). For example, he talks about limiting saturated fats. What evidence is there to link saturated fats to heart disease? Again he talks about limiting eggs. There is no evidence that dietary cholesterol has any relation to serum cholesterol. So much so the AHA has removed it from their dietary recommendation ( 300 mg a day). Science is that the liver manufactures about 2 to 3 grams of cholesterol every day. Dietary cholesterol hardly reaches the blood. By avoiding whole eggs due to such fears, we are depriving ourselves of an excellent source of protein and so many micro nutrients
What mumbi Jumbo is he talking about. How is caloric restriction = intermittent fasting. Does caloric restrictions lead to the production of human growth hormone. 23:49
Bull shit , about your talk , why did punith Rajkumar and Goutham Reddy die, it depends on each one's how they digest , gut health is most Importent , there are so many Cardiologists dieing of cardiac attack, Cholestrol is not the cause of heart attacks, if you don't have cholestrol we will die.
Poor under evidenced talk. Scientific people can’t make an advice which can’t be measured or evidenced, you can’t blame gadgets for rise in heart disease.
Whats up with doctors and this staurated fats are "bad" myth. I think most of the doctors refuse to read any reasearch which is not atleast 15 years old 😂. Saturated fats are not bad for you, infact its crucial for optimal sexual hormones production.

The amount of BS is outstanding here. Coupled with authority argument.
Fleur! Fleur! Fleur! GIViNG me time? OMG! You too?
Talking the usual crap. Someone ask this guy why did Sourav Ganguly have heart attack?
What mumbi Jumbo is he talking about. How is caloric restriction = intermittent fasting. Does caloric restrictions lead to the production of human growth hormone. 23:49
Could me more succinct talk.
Bull shit , about your talk , why did punith Rajkumar and Goutham Reddy die, it depends on each one's how they digest , gut health is most
Importent , there are so many Cardiologists dieing of cardiac attack,
Cholestrol is not the cause of heart attacks, if you don't have cholestrol we will die.
Poor under evidenced talk.
Scientific people can’t make an advice which can’t be measured or evidenced, you can’t blame gadgets for rise in heart disease.
Obviously he has no idea about intermediate fasting … for your infor it’s not a fad diet
Totally and utterly nonsense and non science, especially regarding the recommendation of toxic seed oils
Most of his advice seems impractical to me….does he really think Indian HH will throw oil after frying once….🤷♂️…
Whats up with doctors and this staurated fats are "bad" myth. I think most of the doctors refuse to read any reasearch which is not atleast 15 years old 😂.
Saturated fats are not bad for you, infact its crucial for optimal sexual hormones production.
