Neat. Was watching another vid of yours where they didn't have the covers on and was wondering if they came with covers so I was gonna ask in comments but decided to google it and the pic I clicked led me back to you but with the covers on. :)
‘Love the ADS2030s! I am also blessed to own a these studio monitors. The ‘Line Source’ mode with the 4 soft dome midrange speakers creates a wall of sound that very few speakers can replicate. I wish I had bought the ADS C2000 Xover. I did add a JL 113 sub that matches well to the ADS’s. I used Perreaux PMF2150B MOSFET amps for a long time until recently switching to a Parasound JC5 amp. Thank you for sharing your system … very impressive!
Hhholy Smokes Matt. Just ..... beautiful. I know this song, I know every note, what you've done here is nothing short of awesome. Great job recording. I mean what I say.
Yes , i used to sell these when i worked in Audio , biamped them with two Threshold Stasis 2's ... wide open and upper bass would kick you in the chest. sweeter top end .. This was years ago.. Most impressive was the Police's shadows in the rain..
Which ADS model do you have? These L2030 are passive speakers. I am biamping them using the ADS C2000 biamp controller (the only way to properly biamp them). In this setup I was using an Audire Otez amp to drive the 14" woofers in both speakers, and a Forte Model 3 amp to power the mids and tweeters in both speakers. If you aren't biamping, you just need to read the instructions on the back of the speaker to ensure you have your speaker cables hooked up to the full range inputs (red/black terminals on the far right) and the biamp switch set to the right (not left) position. The biamp switch is above the left side speaker terminals and may be behind the fuse cover. Make sure both speakers are set the same. Hope this helps.
Kickass demo bro. Thank you for sharing.
They have a lightweight tweeter array tilted inwards instead of a midrange. They face the listener directly.
It is a nice design.
This proves you don't need to spend a whole lot of money to get great sound!
Correct! I believe we mastered the loudspeaker a couple decades ago. We’re just chasing carrots at this point.

Amazing sound! Great choice of demo song, too. Mr. Knopfler at his best.

Absolutely amazing set up and speakers! And the recording is very good. Good stuff!
These are what "old school" speakers sound like!! NOT little bookshelf ones with a gigantic sub woofer!

Sound for their 3500. Not more. But look very nice. A perfect size and finish
Wow, such a great system!
Sounds awesome Matt! Drool worthy system!
Sounds great!!
Love it🍺🍺🍺🍺
Deep recession at HF.
Но музыка отличная 😂
Does biamping make much of a difference in sound?

@@45billyva Thank you!
Boss how big is that room? Jist curios what I can get away with size wise. Thanks
That room was around 13'x20'. These play surprisingly well in smaller spaces, but they can really show off in bigger rooms.
Como se conectan estos parlantes, tengo 2.. Pero no se como se conectan??? Mi pregunta es que si son pasivos????

I have the Ads sub 12. ,I use a nakamichi pre amp to balance it. That is the only thing. I’d think of..adding.
