I think that only Kenrick in Japan will give you such an extreme delivery service. In any other place in the world, they will tell you to forget the big JBL's and just buy some small bookshelves speakers.

I love these install videos; but normally, it's only a few minutes at the start and then music afterwards, now there's noting wrong with and that is always enjoyable. You do crave a little more, just so you can feel that 10% of what it's like to own a pair of speakers like these. So when I saw this video I'd thought more of the same, a quick intro, maybe a Ferrari, then some jazz. But, no, not at all. An almost full video of an installation/delivery. It's so amazing, what length's they went too to get them in there. At one point, you're thinking, they've tried taking them down spiral stairs, so why are they getting lifted, to the roof! Only to discover they are getting abseiled down the side of the building. I'm not entirely sure the place they are going to end up is actually big enough to handle such a large pair of speakers. I't be easier, to just make the speakers in situ, rather than get them delivered. Well done, those delivery guys. You all deserve a medal.

Ce client est assez gourmand, car pour des enceintes de ce types dans un espace restreint ca me parait dommage et tout cet ensemble Mark Levinson, il y au moins pour 60 000 € de matériel Hi-fi. Qualité irréprochable cette gamme, il fut une certaine époque.

4350's in a room that size is ludicrous can anyone say psychoacoustics. They need room to breathe I won't even talk about the bass, soundstage, presence, separation, dynamic headroom room, line, and room treatment, but when you have limited space and they sure do in Japan this is what you do. In the 70's and 80's they use take JBL drivers and crossovers and mount them directly in the wall in Japan.

I honestly have no idea how those speakers can be handled by tw guys. They seem to be made of cardboard. My DIY 4355 (one inch beech ply walls) is so heavy, that you need to get the drivers out before transporting. And even then you need four guys for the job.
The staff are in a lot of trouble. If it was Korea, it would be mostly an apartment, so I have little to do. It's a feature of Japan with many small houses.

J v It’s highly subjective, of course, but the vocal quality is not as good IMO. It is “lounged up”, and I don’t mind that at all, but who you cover can be tricky. The Carpenters did a lot of covers themselves, of the Beatles, etc., but their sound was so different it wasn’t perceived as competition. Just an opinion about of course. I like a lot of the modern female jazz singers, BTW. The room size and lack of treatment could make music selection irrelevant. This is literally near field! As such it still sounds good - there is simply no room for reflections.

JBL 4350 I heard once @ Dr Sun Yat-Sen memorial hall ( Taipei, Taiwan ), 1974 or 75. They used SONY amplifiers ( V-FET ).
No problem with big speakers in small rooms. Just play at lower volume level and everything will be ok.
