i like dr morris, but he starts the history of jews returning to the land in the 19th century it ended up being the only succesful one, but there were many before it that failed to an extent....but they started during the middle ages by starting the history of the return of the jews in the 18th century, you create a narrative that is easily attacked and it leaves out why earlier attempts and recreating the yishuv failed...but there were jews in different parts of the land because of those earlier attempts and arabs didnt conquer all of palestine....and he leaves out the ottomans....who were the colonial power in charge of the land at the end of the 19th century...so the arabs never had a good argument for anything this is why many attack the new historians, because they purposefully leave out huge chunks of history that dont fit their narrative and the palestinian national movement was created by the kgb....he has never bothered looking at the soviet archives not a single arab in the land considered themselves a palestinian until after 1964
@@dmoneythatbigdude that is from the archives of the soviet union. that no one talks about this bothers me. the whole "zionism is racism" was planted by the kgb...not the arab league
You fail to acknowledge the Peel commision of 1936 came before it which offerened more land, and it was rejected. As for the UN Partittion, you fail to recognize the partition of Jordan at the time which was given entirely to Arabs, as well as the land itself that was being "traded" off. The land alloted to the arabs was territory in which there were large amounts of arabs living there already, the reason as for why the land partition was so "unclean" was that not all land is made the same. The swampy coast as well as all of the negev (which consists of almost half of israel) was almost entirely uninhabited by Arabs due to its almost uninhabitable climate and soil (sand which is a type of soil) which made it very difficult to farm. The negev did in fact have some small Bedouin groups who as per the plan would be granted israeli citizenship or the ability to have arab citizenship.
